Christmas Angel

Good morning all!  I should be starting to set up for this mornings shows as this post goes live.  I do hope you will be able to tune in for the shows today at 8am, 2pm and 7pm.  This is one of my favourite new images, the Christmas Angel, isn't she beautiful!  This card shows a slight variation on my Fire and Ice technique as I have stamped her on black card and embossed with white detail powder first (rather than gilding her). I covered her with a sticky adhesive sheet and die cut the shape with Gold Elements four.  I peeled the backing paper off and covered her with Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow.  I added some small flatback pearls randomly and a pearl star in the upper corner. I used the larger die from  Elegant Labels Four behind her cut in white and backed with black card.  I cut the smaller die from the set and added it directly behind the angel but cut in half to shorten it. I just have the ends peeking out from beneath her.  I stamped the sentiment in black archival ink on a piece of coconut white card and added a double bow tied from white frilly edged ribbon.  In the centre, I added one of our new embellishments from our finishing touches line.  You can see a close up below, but wait until you can see them in person as they are stunning!  I finished the card with a thin mat of black before adding my final double white pierced mat.  Such an elegant angel and she looks great stamped in so many ways!  Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
