Thinking Of You Today

 Good morning my crafty friends!  I almost missed this one from some JustRite shows earlier this year!  Soft gold and coconut white are the colours it has been done in.  I started by stamping the Labels 29 stamp from the JustRite set called Good Friends.  I stamped it using a clear Perfect Medium pad and then heat embossed with bright gold detail powder by Cosmic Shimmer.  I cut it out with the matching Labels 29 die.  I covered a piece of coconut white card with a sticky adhesive sheet and cut the largest die in the Ornate Square set.  I peeled the backing paper off and covered it in Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles ( a very pretty white glitter without interference colour to it).  Once covered, I cut it in half diagonally.  I glued the pieces to opposite corners of my coconut white background piece.  I matted my Labels 29 piece in the centre with mounting foam.  I stamped my sentiment from the JustRite Always and Forever set using a clear perfect medium pad.  I heat embossed it with Cosmic Shimmer True White embossing powder.  I stamped the oval medallion stamp from the same set on white card and also embossed it in white.  I used the matching nested oval medallion die and next size down to cut it out, creating a small frame for my sentiment.  I mounted it over my sentiment with foam pieces and trimmed away the excess card around the bottom of it.  I cut a Venetian Motif in coconut white (don't forget to use wax paper with that one!) and matted it between my framed sentiment and Labels 29 die cut piece.  I tied a double bow with the sheer double sided silver/gold ribbon and added a pearl embellishment to the knot as an accent.  I used a glue dot to add my bow to the corner of my card.  I added a pearl swirl in the opposite corner for balance and matted the piece on a layer of soft gold card.  A final double white mat with a pierced layer finished the card.  A lovely card to send just to say that you are thinking of someone!  Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8" in size.
Just a quick note, I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. I loved all the amazing comments you guys left me, thoroughly enjoyed the day shopping, a scrumptious meal and white chocolate martini and my blog counter past the three million mark to top it all off!  What more could a girl ask for!  All for now, Sue x
