Workshop Pics!

Saturday and Sunday were just spent teaching my Vintage Christmas Postcard workshop. The classes were full up for both days and I really enjoyed teaching new techniques and ideas to everyone both days.  We did four projects during the day and this card is one that we did using the shaving cream technique.  It was a bit messy but I think everyone really enjoyed it. I will try to post the other projects soon (I need to take a few more pictures first).
Here is a pic we took on Saturday while everyone was working on the card above.  Unfortunately, we only got about half the room in the shot.  You can see all the blue cans of shave foam on the table.  One of the attendees asked me if anyone said anything to me when I purchased all the cans of shave cream.  I had to be honest with them and tell them that I was concerned about the reaction I might get buying a dozen cans of it.  So I chickened out and just bought a couple at a time when I was doing my grocery shopping!  I'm a big chicken, I know!
Not to change the subject, but we are ever so close to another blog candy draw.  I am just itching to give this candy away.  Can we make it happen soon and put me out of my misery?  Please!
All for now, Sue x

When I saw the card, that's the first technique that came to mind. It might be messy, but it's so fun and easy to do and gives stellar results. Very pretty card!

LOL, I'm chuckling over the thought of you "sneaking" a couple cans of shaving cream each time you went shopping! That's so much fun, messy yes, but that just makes it more fun! Great card, will be looking forward to seeing more.

I've no idea what the shaving foam technique is but it certainly helps create a stunning card. I love the blue colour in the card too. The swirly stamping in the background all helps to make such a completed professional looking card.
I have no idea how you cope with that many people in a workshop; I just know I'd be the last to finish everything but sounds like you all had a ball. You need to move to Warrington Sue :-)

What a lovely time you all had. I think you should have bought a really long false beard and worn it to the shop to buy 12 cans of shaving foam. I'd pay good money to see that!!!!! Oh and I love the colours you've used on the card. Looks like the candy will soon be winging it's way to a lucky recipient.

Sue you are funny. You really made me giggle at the thought of you only buying a couple of cans of shaving foam at a time. Anyway it was worth it, as it gives a lovely effect.
