Date Change....Again!

I have to start this post with the announcement of yet another date change that I've been given.  The Vintage Christmas show that was previously scheduled to air on Sept. 2nd has now been moved to Monday Sept.6th at 11am.  I am so sorry about all this, but Create and Craft has the final say as far as scheduling goes.  I am just at their mercy.  The good news is that it gives me a bit more time to make samples for the show.  I have just finished this one and was rather fond of it so I thought that I would share.  This is also a little sneak peek at one of the newest nestie designs that I've been given to test out. This one is called Labels Fifteen and if you like these, they will be available in just a few weeks time.  I think it lends itself very nicely to this vintage look, don't you?  I love the fact that it's square, but a bit fancier than just a plain square, so much more interesting I think.  Surprisingly, a very quick card too.  It was stamped and distressed with walnut stain distress ink and just a little hightlight of fired brick on the bird, no labourious colouring, added a few of my favourite paper roses (I hope you aren't getting sick of seeing them, they are just so fun to make!), a nice satin ribbon (I know, I do love my ribbon too!) a couple of black glints and voila, a vintage Christmas card.  As far as the show goes, I hope you will tune in as I have discovered a really cool idea that I am looking forward to showing everyone (money saving too!) How's that for a teaser!
 All for now, Sue x

Ohh rats, more time to wait, but I suppose we should be thankful to see more wonderful samples, always a good side to most things. The card is BEAUTIFUL, love everything about it. I tried making the rose myself and lets just say "needs to try harder", so I am always glad to see them to prove that it can be done lol.

I am looking forward to 6th, but they could have let u have both days :P

You have yet again created a beautiful card. The new nestie shape is lovely - very useful. All the elements on the card work together so well but the roses just give it such glamour. Looking forward to the shows - hope they don't mess you around again.
