Thanks

Hello bloggers!  I first want to say that the background of this card is in fact silver and black not gold (it looks that way on my computer so it probably does on yours too!)  I used a piece of black card and put a sticky adhesive sheet on it.  I peeled the backing paper off and used Black Diamond Aurora Flakes all over it.  Using the Button Floral Panel die set, I cut the outer frame three times out of white card.  I cut two of them in half and added them to the sides of the third one.  I added one more frame to the very outside from the Buttercup Floral Panel die set.  I cut the Moonflower die in black and added a white backing to it, then seated it in the centre of the outer frames.  I cut a Pierced Flag die in white and added the Noble Thanks sentiment cut in black.  I cut two white butterflies from the Butterfly Delights die set and glued them in the upper right corner of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Rain Or Shine You Are A Friend Of Mine

Hi bloggers!  I selected a piece of Actic blue card as my background.  I cut the Cottage Shaped card die and cut it out of milk card. I used the Flagstone stencil on top of the Cottage die cut and inked through it with Antique Linen Distress ink.  I cut the Cottage again out of chestnut card and nipped away the roof, door, windows and steps and glued them onto the cottage.  I cut four flowerboxes from the House Accessories set out of the chestnut card and added greenery and flowers to them then glued them under the four windows.  I made two topiaries and added them to the sides of the front door along with a dog and a cat. I added a green wreath to the front door too. I used the rainbow from the You Are My Sunshine die set and cut it in a variety of pastel colours then assorted them on the rainbow die.  I added it in the top corner with a sun die from the Rain Or Shine die set cut from straw card.  I cut the rain or shine sentiment from the same set in black and glued it below the sun.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Happy Birthday

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's background was cretaed by using Midnight Blue, Purple Violet and Lava Red Pixie Powders.  I cut the Underwater Life Frame out of green, tan and rust card.  I used the green as the base and then cut out different elements from the other colours and added them to it.  I cut the octopus and dolphin out of slate gtay and light gray card.  I cut Neptune out of white card and used Antique linen distress ink to colour him.  Next, I added his tail which I cut out of a piece of leftover green pixied card.  I added the trident in his hand out of light gray card.   The Happy Birthday came from the Scuba Diver die set which I cut in white and added to the upper corner and the Seas The Day in white on to the rock at the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 /4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello Dear Friend

Hi crafters! I went back into my background stash for the start of this card.  I selected a piece of pixied card that used Lava Red and Purple Violet Pixie Powders.  I decided to do the panels in silhouette so I cut the Button Flower panel, the Moonflower panel and their foliage panels into a piece of  black card.  I backed the entire piece with the pixied card.  I cut a small white frame using the Double Pierced Squares.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it and seated it in the centre of the card so the pixied background showed through.  I cut the Hello Dear Friend sentiment in black and glued it imnto the frame.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sending You Sunshine

Hello crafters!  I reached for my new Nautical Adventures Paper pad to use as the background for today's card.  I cut the paper into three strips and added it with mounting foam to a piece of white card.  I cut the fram from the Beach Palms Stained Glass die out of Dark Navy card and backed it in white.  I cut the centre circular die also from the Beach Palms in white and layered it up on top.  The Beach Lighthouse was cut in white, red and black card.  I used Tumbled Glass Distress ink to colour the water and Frayed Burlap ink to colour the rocks.  I offset the black die cut behind the white one.  The lighthouse was cut out of the red die cut and added on top of the white one.  I added a black top on it.  I used the Sending You Sunshine sentiment cut in red and I nipped the words apart to add the word sunshine next to it instead of under it.  The card was competed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensins are 7 3/4"  x  8 1/2"   in size.  All fr now, Sue x

Get Well Soon

Hello there my crafty friends!  How about a flowery get well card for today's offering?  I started by making a pixie powder background.  I used Straw Yellow, Golden Mint and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders.  Next I cut the Noble Vintage Labels in white.  I cut four of the larger size and four of the next size down.  I added a piece of clear acetate across the back of one of the smaller frames, then added mounting foam to raise it.  I seated it in the centre of the card, then added the larger frame around it with thinner mounting foam so it stairstepped downwards.  I cut the Get Well Soon sentiment in black and glued it across the acetate.  I nipped the other frames apart and added them to the corners.  I used the Cosmos Flower die set and made three different sized flowers.  I cut the solid base of the flowers with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet added to them, then cut the outlines.  I assembled the two pieces then glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I used the foliage panel from the Moonflower Floral Panel die set and cut it in green twice.  I nipped the foliage apart and used it as an accent for the flowers.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Beach Sailboat Stained Glass

Good Sunday morning all! I have a one die card to share today!  I started by cutting the background to the Beach Sailboat Stained Glass out of red card.  I added a white backing to it.  I cut the circular frame in white then added the centre sailboat die, also cut in white.  I used Tumbled Glass distress ink on the water lines, then cut just the sailboat base in blue and the flag in red.  I hand cut them  and glued them onto the original white die cut.  I added mounting foam to the back of the entire piece, then added it onto a larger piece of white card that I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz around the edge for a bit of bling.  The card was competed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
