Hello again! I have another lovely Mini Expression to share with you this post; From Me To You. While this one definitely isn't just for Christmas, it does work really nicely for use with your festive cards. I just love the way it looks with the Christmas Robin set, especially when both of the birds are used, don't you? This sentiment has been designed in a less formal manner so it can be used with all styles of card making. This is the kind of saying that will be perfect for use with those cards that are sent for no particular reason, the best kind in my book! I know it is a small die, but you can still win it if you leave a comment on this post. If it is something you would like to use, then why not! . This is it for today, only three posts today and tomorrow to finish off the blog launch. We are on to the Finishing Touches tomorrow so hopefully we will have a big splash starting at 6am tomorrow. I love that you have made this a a less formal die, as you say to use with many card styles. It's hard to find dies that can be used for any style. Don't get me wrong I love having Formal ones for wedding cards etc but versatile greetings like this are a must.
I have a question please.... are you going to bring out a range of greeting/sentiment dies that are variable dies too (come with an outer die to cut a matt or aperture for the wording)?
I love to cut apertures in a card to sit my word into. They can be fun especially when done as features all over a card with pretty backgrounds (watercolour, glitter etc) behind, but also words to be used as accents, tabs or embellishments etc.
I would love to see sets of simple muti-use words. A couple of examples...
Love, live, happy, laugh, journey, enjoy, memories, smile, giggle, wonderful etc etc. Lots of slightly smaller dies with outer dies too to use as multi-accents on cards or mixed media pieces too.
I love larger prominent word dies but sometimes small is great when you want to add lots of words or words onto a tag etc.
Sorry I hope I've not bombarded you, it was just a little idea.
