Hello bloggers! I started today's card by cutting thin strips of card in three colours; lilac, lavender and amethyst card. I love it when I can use leftover bits! I cut a piece of white card and covered the card with a sticky adhesive sheet. I added the thin strips in alternating order down the length of the card, then trimmed away any excess. Next, I cut the Harper die in white twice and the Jayne die in white once. On one of the Harper dies, I added a lilac backing to it. On the two remaining dies, I nipped them in half. I added the cut halves of the Harper die to the top and bottom of the Harper die with the lilac backing. Then I added the cut halves of the Jayne die to the left and right sides of the Harper die. I added it to the middle of the card with mounting foam. I cut the Rose Cluster in white with two piece of white card while cutting. I used the bottom copy to colour the rose cluster, then I added the top die cut to it. I used a pair of scissors and nipped away a single rose and added it to the left side of the focal element. I cut the Best Wishes out of Amethyst card and black card. I used the black die cut as an offset shadow under the sentiment, then glued it to the middle of the Harper die. I had some pearl corners in my stash so I used them in the four corners as accents. The card was completed with white and amethyst card mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful mauve and lilac sort of colours today, the detail on the die even down to the pearl squares in the left hand corner make this a wonderful card to receive, love it.

This is a lovely post and very pretty in the lilac shades, but so easy to change up with different colours to suit the recipient 😊
Good use of the excess pieces of paper we always have for the background, resulting in a beautiful card. WakeyL
