Hugs & Kisses

Hello bloggers!  I selected a piece of custard card for the background to today's card.  Next I cut the Harper die twice out of white card.  I cut both of the die cuts in half lengthwise and glued them to the edges of the card.  Using Jamie's Postage Stamp Octagons, I cut a frame out of custard card.  I added mounting foam to the back of it and attached a piece of white card.  I added it to the centre of the card.  I cut the Hugs & Kisses sentiment out of both custard and black card.  I shadowed it with the black die cut and glued it inside the frame.  I cut three flowers using the String Flowers, added a black centre and added them to the bottom of the frame.  I added some white leaves as accents to the flowers.  The card was completed with white, black and custard mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sorry this one isn’t talking to me - love the colours and the elements but…however can see the appeal and it’s one to tuck away for the right recipient 🤔😊

Hi Sue.
Away celebrating our 47th anniversary, only a staycation but in the heart of the Dales, so beautifully peaceful.
The biggest thing I noticed on today's post are you're string flowers, one of the very first designed by you, and i remember your advice extremely well "use the none stick paper so they are easily removed from the die"
It's beautiful. Are the flowers made for this design, or was the Harpers die made to enhance the String Flowers?
Stay well.
Be happy.
Me xxx
