Hi crafters! I had a pretty Pixie powder piece that I just couldn't waste! I started with my pixie powdered piece that was made using Burnt Orange, Candy Pink and Straw Yellow. I cut the thin frame edge out of it and used the centre as my background piece. I added the thin frame to a larger white frame cut with the Double Stitched Squares. I added mounting foam to the frame then added it to my background piece. For the focal element, I cut the Claire die in white and backed it in white. I cut a very thin frame out of a leftover piece of the pixie powder background and glued it to the centre of the Claire die cut. I cut the sentiment out of both white and black card, shadowed it then glued it into the centre of the round frame. Using the Layered Carnation set, I cut several of the flowers out of the left over Pixie powdered background (see, always good to make a full sheet so you can use it to make and match flowers!). I used the Layered Carnation stamps on them to add detail (although it doesn't show up very well on the pixie powder) I seated the flower with a couple of white Fern Fronds. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size.. All for now, Sue x
