Hi crafters! Today's giveaway card is one that I had planned to do as a demo, but I don't think that I actually had a chance to do it (if my memory serves me!) I started by cutting the Cathedral Background out of coconut white card. I used the larger oval to cut an aperture in the centre. I sprayed the back of it with spray glue and added a piece of wisteria card to back it with. I used the slightly smaller oval to cut another opening in the centre to create a frame. I stamped my sentiment on white card, then embossed it for texture before mounting it behind the frame opening. Using the open petal Orange Blossom set, I cut several flowers out of Iris card and placed three larger ones at the bottom of the frame and three at the top of the frame to accent it. I created a larger frame for the card by using the actual Cathedral background die and cutting around it with a sharp exacto knife. I trimmed the sides on my paper cutter to create an inch border on the frame and added mounting foam to raise it for dimension. I completed the card with a pierced mat, a wisteria mat, a thin iris card mat and a final white mat. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" in size. Leave a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing to win this card. I will announce the winner on Saturday's blog post. All for now, Sue x

Hi everyone love the clean elegance of the card.
Hi Sue. Your card today is absolutely beautiful !!! I love your Cathedral background die. It is gorgeous !!! I was lucky enough to get both sets of the Orange Blossom dies for Christmas !!! It may have been something to do with the fact it was the only present I asked for. (well along with any of your gorgeous Canadian dies.) I told hubby and all my family in the hope someone might get the hint !!! I really love them and I think they may be my favourite of all your flower dies (apart from your Classic Rose's dies.) I love the sentiment and the colours you have used. Thanks for sharing another beautiful masterpiece !!!
Thinking of you always Sue. Sending you lots of love and big gentle hugs from Tres x x x

Lori from Canada
This is such a gorgeous card, I love the Cathedral back ground and the flowers are amazing!!!!
Superb card Sue, the cathedral die is a stunner and next on my wish e :)
Thank you my friends for thinking of me and writing kind words. Today was the dreaded mammogram. I rewarded myself with a hot chocolate as it was very uncomfortable and strangely made my arm hurt. Very tired but couldn't sleep. Oh one funny thing, I got fish out of the freezer to defrost but when hubby went to cook it it was a turkey leg! Never mind it will do for sandwiches :=
Wishing good things to all xxx
Evening Sue
What a stunning card. The colours are absolutely sublime. I have the orange blossom flowers and have not yet used just the open petals alone but they are so delicate and pretty. The cathedral background is such a gorgeous die and another one that is on my very long want list.
Sending you lots of love and big hugs Sue x
I had intended to comment a lot earlier today but have had trouble with the internet today - fingers crossed it's all sorted now. Have had an uneventful day doing nothing - what's new? Lol x
TRACY - here's hoping you won't have such bad side effects this time. Big hugs x
LORRAINE - hope you will feel better tomorrow - hang in there. Maybe if you take some turkey out of the freezer you could end up with roast lamb. Lol. Huggles x
WHEELY BAD - migraines are just the worst but with everything else on top of that - big yuk! Big but gentle hugs x
LAINE - I'm here hun - ready and willing to insult you and make jokes that are completely at your expense. Been thinking about you my love. Every day as it comes is the only way - but it isn't easy sometimes. Reply to my message on face book and I can abuse you in person if you think a torrent of sarcasm would work. Maybe you should take your babies to weight watchers. Marjorie is still the same really although I have not seen her myself since Friday. They moved her to a different hospital and it is going to be very difficult for me to visit. My neighbour went to see her today and said that she was not as sleepy as when we were there last so that is a step in the right direction x
MARIA - big hugs x
That's all for tonight. I am hoping to do a little crafting tomorrow - fingers tightly crossed.
Take care everyone.
Crafty hugs
