Wild About You

Hi bloggers!  This is the very last of the rhino cards I made, but I just love this strange looking guy!  I started by stamping the sentiment *(from the Wild About You Clear stamp set) in the corner of a piece of white card, then I embossed it with the Animal Print Embossing folder.  I inked the Rhino stamp in black and used the matching Rhino die to cut it out.  I coloured him with Distress Markers (antique linen and weathered wood).  I used the same embossing folder to emboss a small piece of milk coloured card to go behind the rhino, but I used Taupe Matt Chalk Polish over the top of it before adding it to the rhino and trimming around the excess.  I added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

I like the idea of using the same EF and the
colouring the smaller background piece, brings
    it altogether.

  16. Good Morning Sue. What a statement this Beautiful animal makes. After all the birthday celebrations ... normally most cards are discarded and put in the bin ... But who could do that with this strong man. He should be framed and and put where people can appreciate not only the animal .... But the amount of work you put into these beautiful intricate dies and tools. Lovely card Sue. Thankyou. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
    PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏
