Hello bloggers! I thought I would share another sample from the latest release. I started with a piece of white card and used
Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over it. Once dry, I embossed it with the
Moroccan Tile embossing folder. After I embossed it, I used
Black Soot around the edges to add a bit of a frame look to it. I cut the
Gerbera Stained Glass Circle out of black card. I backed it with another piece of Pixie Sparkled card, but this one had a bit of
Zesty Lime added to the Beyond Blue. I used some
Cosmic Lacquer on the flowers and leaves for a bit of shine. I cut the
Congratulations sentiment in black and added it below the flowers. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size. All for now, Sue x
Superb and so cool in blue hues! Love it!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful few special days we've just been given full of homes I can only dream of lol, your ideas, themes and designs are non-stop I don't know how you do it you must be continually sketching ideas figuring out how to make them work alongside your older much loved dies from a few years back, either way I'm really looking forward to seeing more brand new samples made with your new collections and hopefully this is one of many. ReplyDeleteHi Sue. I do love gerberas as I think they are such happy flowers. I would usually colour them really brightly but as you have shown us here, they can also be used quite nicely in more muted colours to blend in with the background.
