To A Dear Friend

Good Sunday morning all!  I made this sweet little card with a piece of caught in crystal background I had in my stash.  I started with a piece of acetate and added Blue Aquamarine crystal Tint to it.  I sprinkled some Blush Haze holographic glitter on to it, then scrunched a piece of tissue paper and laid it on top.  I set it aside to dry overnight.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Frames and made a white frame to go around it.  I cut the vase from the Beautiful Blossoms out of black gloss card.  I added three white pussy willow branches from the Elegant Arrangements  to it.  I cut the To A Dear Friend twice out of white card and glued them together then glued them to the left side of the frame.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Morning Sue, friends.
I love the caught in crystal effect and the the deep effective colour but ... I'm really not sure of the vase used for your arrangement, I mean this is a fun way NOT a criticism it looks like you up-cycled a George Forman one of those no fat cooking whatsits, think I'd have used a smaller vase and a different smaller arrangement. Hope everyone is keeping well, safe and as happy as can be, sending love to all xxx

  10. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful creation to give to any friend, love the vase and foliage also the background, I always have trouble doing this technique so very often would use a different background, but it certainly looks stunning.

  17. Good Morning Sue. Ohhh what a lovely creation this morning. Well I must be one of the biggest alone fans ... So this is just up my street. And your lovely sentiment is one of my favourites that just sit inside the frame so beautifully. I love it.
So sorry I couldn't post yesterday. One of my birthday present was a trip to Harrogate for the STAMPERAMA CRAFT FAIR. I loved it. There were lots of different stalls and so many demos. One of which I was very interested in was the stencils and glitter pastes you have used in some of your posts. I can't believe how easy it was to do. And no mess whatsoever. It's so lovely to learn something new . Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
    PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏.
    Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
