Hello bloggers! Last but not least is the Decorative Squared Octagons! I know the name is a mouthful, but this set is absolutely beautiful. One thing that I do need to mention is that these do not cut out of the paper, only into the paper. They have been designed to work with the Double Stitched Octagons so if you already own that set, these can be used to make decorative frames. Shown here, you can see the lovely pattern that they make which can be used to go around your focal element. If this set is singing your name, don't forget to leave a comment on this post. I love this, I saw a card a couple of days ago using this and wondered how it worked now I know, I have the others in this collection already so this would a great addition and of course expanding the options when used together.

Hi Sue, I wish I had the sentiment on the previous card when I was working and selling my cards. I didn't comment as should I win I don't think I would get much use from it so left it for someone else to be lucky. I do love the card though and hope the detail will be on the blog soon.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's so effective - perfect way to add interest to a card design without adding dimension (which can sometimes be important for postage). And it looks as though you can decide how wide the pattern is, based on how many of the dies you use. I wonder if you could change the spacing, too, by staggering the dies, using odd ones only ... I look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
