Good Sunday morning all! Here's a simple Pixie Sparkle card for you today. I started with a piece of white card and sprinkled
Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over the card. Once dry, I cut the
Charming Lace Trim die in white and glued them to the sides of the background. I used the centre of the
Maldives die and cut an aperture in the middle of the card. I added mounting foam to the back of the background then attached it to a piece of white card. I cut the
Maldives die in white using the outer portion around the outside of the aperture, then gluing the centre to the leftover piece from the aperture, and recessing it into the centre. I cut the
Get Well sentiment from a leftover piece of the background, then shadowed it with a black die cut and glued it to the middle of the aperture. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now,. Sue x
Oh Sue you've given us another absolute beauty. The mix of sparkles are so pretty, the perfect background to show the delicate lace trim and Maldives dies, both dies are really really pretty. It's not often I can say this but I have both dies, well including the sentiment plus various shades of blue pixies so this is one for the future if you have no objection. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a charming creation today, with the colours behind which I suspect is how the Maldives would look and to use the Maldives die to central the sentiment and the lace edges, genius, love it.

I love the dies you’ve used, yesterday I was sorting my dies out and came across so many beautiful dies I haven’t used for ages. I nip it and trim it to fit many things that need just a little fancy edge and it never let's me down. The colours on your background are beautiful as always. ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Love the colours of the background on the card today. However, for me, there is a bit too much background and the die cut elements get a bit lost on such a large space, so if I were to make something similar, I would probably make to card a bit smaller.
