So Sweet Of You

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the 3D Stripes folder.  Next I grabbed a pixie powder background from my stash with used Aqua Lagoon and Teal Wash Pixie Powders (I covered it with cling film to create the shimmery lines) and cut it with the Cut Corner Rectangles.  I cut one large and one smaller frame out of it.  I added a piece of acetate to the smaller one, then added mounting foam to both of them and attached them to the background.  Using the Robin Family die set, I cut several birds out of tan card as well as a nest.  I cut three small eggs out of the pixied card and added them to the nest.  The robins were highlighted with Barn Door distress oxide ink.  I added the birds in opposite corners of the large frame.  For the sentiment, I cut the So Sweet Of You from the pixied card and glued it to the acetate on the smaller frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Hi sue and all that love this safe haven. Isn't this just soooooo pretty. I just love the pixie powder and clingfilm together it's so easy with a beautiful end to put a smile on anyone's face, pixie powders give a different look on their own but add a simple piece of clingfilm and its even more different, really special. This is my kind of inspiration that makes me smile and my heart sing so thank you for a happy start to a new week of ups and downs. STAY SAFE AND STAY HEALTHY xxx 💕
