Please Let It Snow

Hi crafters!  It's all about the bling for this card! LOL  I started with a piece of white card and covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing off and coated it with Silver Gems Holographic Glitterbitz.  Next I cut the Deco Trees Background outer die in white.  I glued it to the glittered background and cut the centre out (I didn't add any glue except to the edge of the die so the centre was not attached once cut).  I added mounting foam to the frame to raise it and added it to another piece of white card.  I recessed the glittered centre down into the frame and glued it into place.  I cut the Snow die/stamp combo in white several times and stacked them.  I added it to the centre of the card.  I stamped two phrases from the matching stamps and cut them out with the tag die.  I added those above and below the Snow die with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  2. Are you a crazy woman lol our snow doesn't look as pretty as your snow, our snow puts everything at a standstill here lol we can't cope with snow but imagine the Silver gems holographic glitterbitz floating and fluttering down, ohhhhh ahhhhh 🥰
Oh my word I need Glitterbitz Sue I really need them, time to try and find the full range on interweb and hopefully ask if my craft shop owner can still order during lockdown, did you hear Sue- the UK on lockdown from Thursday. So I'm going to revisit today's inspiration it's so beautiful and when the lights hit that gorgeous design not only will it light up any room it could be seen from space (I'm sure that's the main story of a lovely festive film I could watch over and over lol)

Steph is right about the snow here. Just a few inches and pandemonium breaks loose.

  25. WOW! Bling galore plus a sentiment right for the times. I don't have any snow though but I do have a little grandson who loves the white stuff and lives in Montana. They have already had a good dose of snow this year and I have so many lovely pictures of my curly headed kiddo making snowballs (with a contraption that looks like a giant meatball scoop). I've got the Happy & the Peace but not the Snow.
    Good day to everyone,
    Stephanie K
