Greetings Of The Season

Good Sunday morning all!  I started today's card by selecting a piece of Glitter Kiss card from my craft stash.  I had used Ice Blue Glitter Kiss all over a piece of card and let it dry.  Next I cut the Snowflake & Swirls Background in white.  I glued it over the glitter Kiss card.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I made a white frame and added it with mounting foam over the background.  I cut the 2020 Christmas Angel out of milk card and again out of antique gold card.  I used some Worn Lipstick ink to add some colour to the angel and coloured the hair with Fossilized Amber ink.  I cut the dress out of the gold die cut and glued it to the other angel.  I cut the wings and banner in white and glued them both in place, then added the angel to the side of the frame.  Using the Greetings of the Season, I cut it in antique gold card and glued it to the top and bottom of the frame.  The card was completed with white and antique gold mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  3. Hi Sue. I'm sorry, I don't know if it's the colours or background and the Angel all together but I'm finding it too busy, I may have left the background all white, I may have chosen just the snowflake die with the antique gold showing through to match the Angel and sentiment, but I didn't make this inspiration Sue you did and you love it as I'm sure many do it's just too busy for me especially when calm and serenity is what my head needs at this really unsettling time again. Sending love to everyone that enters this cozy nook today and PLEASE STAY SAFE xxx 💖

  12. Hello Sue
This is a lovely card but I would have to substitute the Angel.I think Christmas cards are going to be more important this year because we will be unable to visit our friends so I am going to get some really nice writing paper to write letters to pop inside my cards.Take care everyone x

  22. Hi Sue and everyone, well this card has had a divided opinion today hasn't it. When I looked from a distance I thought it was a polar bear on ice lol as to me the gold looks brown on the images. I love the glitter kiss background and that blue is stunning. Love Trish's idea of letters in her cards too hugs to all Donna xx

  23. Glitter kiss is something I am not successful with, never get an even surface, so I admire yours Sue, because you tend to get it perfect. Lovely card here for Christmas, Angel and all....luv Ursula xx
