Guess Who Thinks You're Special?

Hello crafters!  I pulled out the pixie powders to start this card.  I used Aubergine Dream, Plum Twist and Rich Gold Pixie Powders.  I applied them heavily and spritzed them with water and allowed them to dry well.  Next I cut multiples of the Pom Pom Flowers in white and asembled them to make five flowers, adding large white pearls to the centres.   I added them to the lower left corner, then cut the Magnolia Corner die several times and nipped it apart to use as leafy accents around them.  I cut the Guess Who Thinks You're Special sentiment die in both white and black.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white one and then glued it in the upper right hand corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  23. Hi Sue. I quite like this style of card. As there are really only three elements to grab our attention it makes you appreciate the beauty of all of them. Love the colours used for the background and also the oversized sprig in the bottom left hand corner.

  30. Hi Sue, my apologies for not leaving a comment over the weekend. I popped in for a quick look each morning but for who knows what reason I didn't come back. Loved Saturday's CAS card the Opal Polishes are beautiful and good to see how you created the card. Sunday's card made me wish for wine (or even tea/coffee) with friends, it seems so long since I have seen them. Today's card is really vibrant, love the pixie colours and the Pom Pom flowers make a great arrangement. The sentiment is of course sent to you.
