Hi bloggers! I'd like to share a Martha card with you today! I started by cutting the Martha Background die in both white and black. I offset the black one behind the white one and added a Ruby Red backing for it. Next I used the Double Stitched Rectangles and made a multi-layered frame using a wider white base and a thin black frame on top. I added it with foam over the background. Next I cut the Joanie die in both white and black. I did the same thing and shadowed the white die with the black die and added a ruby red backing to it. I cut a small white circle frame from the Double Stitched Circle die set. I stamped my sentiment then added the frame over it and trimmed away the excess card and added it to the centre with foam. I added two small red flowers from the Spring Foliage die set and completed the card with white, red and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. Love this card as the different die sets work so well together. There is so much detail for not so much effort. It's quite odd that I didn't particularly like the black, white and red colour combination on a previous card that you made but I think it looks absolutely stunning in this case.

Your design today is dramatic. You do shawdowing so well. When I do shadowing, it does something to my eyesite. Things seem to jump around and it's hard for me to focus. I must be doing something wrong with this technique.
