  18. Hi Sue
Oh this is such a fantastically wowzer card! Will look forward to watching your video later.
I have put gold and silver together on cards before especially at Christmas and I really like the effect. Mind you I’ve never been one to stick to the rules all the time. Lol.
Texture paste is a big favourite of mine and then along came Luna paste - a game changer. I picked a couple up at Ally Pally in September and it really is magnificent. I have only used it a couple of times but was so bowled over with the results. It’s stunning. Silly really I tend to forget about all things paste until I make Christmas cards. Note to self - get your paste out and put it to good use all your round!
We are being threatened with a warm sunny day here in Cultural Croydon. I expect the grass is in for some tender loving care from the boys and I will be on hand with the promise of bacon sandwiches - in between hanging the washing on the line and watching Julia on Create and Craft.
    Happy Saturday everyone

  22. Good Morning Sue. I have just watched your brilliant video....feet up and cuppa tea in hand..... my usual position on a Saturday morning. Your video's never fail to amaze me. You make everything look so easy and this one is no exception. I haven't tried this technique yet. But the time will come and I will be looking back on all these video's as a reminder. Wonderful stuff. Today's sample card is a gorgeous card and anyone would be happy to receive this. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

  29. Hi Sue, a lovely card and I like both versions - the gold and silver here and the all silver in the video. Thanks for the tip about using glitter before paste to stop the card from buckling. I don't have any luna paste yet but will save this information for when I do.

  45. hello Sue. I tried the glitter/luna paste technique last night and was thrilled with the results this morning. The pearl paste I used, when dried, had flattened out a bit so the whole background is smooth. I was amazed how stuck the glitter is .... no shedding! thanks for a wonderful technique.
