  11. Morning Sue. Not all your photos are uploading at the moment but with the few that have I am wowed by just how beautifully delicate this sample is, it really looks like borders of expensive lace and the blush pink is made for this sample, I can imagin giving a keepsake like this as a wedding card it's just gorgeous, simple, delicate, gorgeous. I'm not sure if there are any winners listed due to loading issue's but I'll try again later.
Have a lovely day whatever your plans xxx

  25. Hi Sue,

Really like this idea - it would be fairly simple and quick to do especially if you already have some flowers made up, although I must admit I'd be tempted to use stronger colours on the flowers and sentiment just to make them stand out a bit more...

Donita - Sue used Distress Markers on yesterday's card - same inks but in pen format...I don't have the full range but they are very useful...

  35. Hi Sue. This was the card that I caught a glimpse of on TV that I really liked. I took a picture of it when I went to Ally Pally and, of course, I had to get everything so that I could make something similar. Love it.

  36. Hi Sue
You may say simple - I think it's simply stunning x
Yes in theory this may be relatively simple card to make but the results are beautiful. By changing the flowers, colours and sentiment this card will be brilliantly versatile. Thanks for sharing this idea Sue x
Really busy and exhausting couple of days so apologies for lack of comments. I have a little time this morning to catch my breath then going to friends for the rest of the day/evening with the intention of celebrating Eurovision. I used to be an avid fan but not really that bothered these days but the free food and company will compensate for having to put up with an evening of bad telly x
Sending lots of love to all specially missing friends x

    Hi Sue,
This card would melt anybody's heart (if it needed it that is). It's beautiful and the colours are so gentle, it's good to see a channel card again, too.
Will watch the video a bit later - here in Chester we have got the races on so I'll be nipping into town before bedlam starts in earnest. It's funny, you see all the ladies go into the course dolled up to the eyebrows at lunchtime and when the races are finished around 5 pm they tatter into the pubs MUCH worse for wear. When it's hot their high heels get discarded, but that won't be the case today. It's sunny but freezing.........
    Hugs, Rose

  40. Another fun video for a lovely card. I like how the barest of color is just enough. And it's good to know the icy glitterbitz lets color shine through. Makes me want to cut up a bunch of Passion Flowers to keep handy.

Thanks, Izzy, for explaining that the precise delivery of ink on yesterday's card was accomplished with Distress Markers. I was picturing the small end of a Smoothie.

Enjoy whatever you make today, and keep your embossing powder dry.

    Best,
    Donita

Hi Sue, what a gorgeous card and suitable for such a lot of different occasions. I love white on white cards with a hint of pastel. I've got the flower die so will be cutting out a lot in white and different colours to take away with me tomorrow as I need my crafty fix even after walking the hills and lakes in the Lake district. Enjoy your weekend everyone. Hugs xx Pauline

  51. Hi Sue, I love this delicate and gentle card. I have not always been a fan of channel cards but I do like this idea of using acetate to bridge the gap and then being able to build upon it. I may well try this very soon and thanks to the video I will know how to.

It may be a relatively quick and simple card but it is very elegant!
I love the hint of blush card and the acetate filling the channel.
It would be a great to have a few of these cards ready made along with an assortment of coloured flowers all ready to pop on to the card with a suitable sentiment.
