  31. Good Morning Sue. I absolutely love what you have done with this card. So easy yet so brilliant. I watched the video and like crafty sue I cringed when you screwed the card up. But what a lovely effect. I don't have and I've never used the alcohol inks before..... would you get a similar effect with just the ink pads?....I have quite a few man cards to make in the next couple of weeks so I might be experimenting. Worth a try Thankyou for the inspiration Sue. Sending good wishes to everyone this awful miserable morning here in Leeds. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

  39. Hi Sue

Industrially beautiful, I love playing at chqanging pieces of card and the corner die is so useful for either gender and can be used when creating quite pretty cards. Surprisingly I have used this die rather a lot, (for men and ladies) as I don't usually do "steampunk" but this just works for me.

    Regards

  40. Morning Sue, as I don't have any alcohol inks, yet, I was wondering whether using my 'steely looking' gilding flakes would work on those lovely industrial corners. I will have to wait until I get back to the UK -next week in order to watch your video. I do like the effect of your background. Enjoy your card CC. Hugs xx Pauline in S.A.

    Hi Sue,
I love this card, and the background you've created is fabulous. I have no probs with crumpling paper but this ageing the edges with shears still presents a problem. I must just try and persevere. Just goes against the grain, sort of.... and never looks as good as when you do it.

Using Walnut Stain Oxide Distress Ink Going Over The Card Straight From The Pad, Then You Spritzted
With A Little Water Add More Distress Ink If You Require, You Dried This With A Heat Tool.
Sue Next You Used A Pair Of Scissors To Distress All Four Sides Of Your Background (You Mentioned Even

Sue, Then You Cut Out Quite A Number Of The Industrial Chic Corner (In My Opinion This Is A Exceptional Cutting Die)

Dabber To Apply The Alcohol Inks, Plus A Bottle Of Blending Solution You Started To Apply Your Magnificent
Alcohol Inks, Adding More Of Different Colours If Needed Taking Some Away If You Wished With The Blending Ink.
Once Dry You Applied Glue To The Back Also A Touch Of Spray Glue, You Placed One Corner Onto Your Background
Then One In The Opposite Corner, You Then Attached This To Your Base Card Using Mounting Foam.
Sue, You Cut Out Three Of The Word CREATE Using Brown Foundation Card Then With Your Finger You
Applied Cosmic Shimmer Lacquer To Add A Rich Shine To The Word CREATE You Added Glue To This Then Placed
This In The Middle Of Your Card You Said We Could Add More Cosmic Shimmer Lacquer If We Required Then You Cut
Out A Selection Of Bolts/Srews/Nuts From Brown Card You Aged Them Slightly Using Tim Holtz Broken China
Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, To Create A Rusty Look You Placed These Here/There On Your Background.

Fabulous card and great video. I didn't think Industrial Chic and grunge cards were for me until you brought us this die and I just had to have it. It's great for male cards teamed with your Ransom Note Happy Birthday die. I don't have any alcohol inks but I'm wondering whether alcohol markers might work with mirri-card. Love the way you've made the background.
