  2. Morning Sue. Hope you start to feel even better today. This is a lovely start to our Saturday and its bound to be someone's birthday who looks in today ☺
This cake die is so useful for so many celebrations, and it's a collection I really need. I have your beautiful Art Deco alphabets and I just find them so very useful, I have so many cut in so many shades and they come to market each month, so many people are thrilled when I offer to personalize their card, so to have another set to go to will be great. I'm slowly saving for the Necessity collection so any videos of these are always so inspirational so thank you.
Sending big hugs and lots of love this Saturday xx

  11. Good morning Sue. Beautiful card, love this die set because of the possibilities. I've been practicing your frame techniques and I'm getting better but think I "need" more of your sets so I can really make them shine! Do you think that logic will pass with the family? Probably not, so it's back to having things delivered to work and sneaking them home. Hope that you're feeling better each day.
Elaine and Rosemary, I don't know what's been said but I'm never offended by your posts and I hate to think that someone has upset you. Pam, miss your post this morning, hope that it's just the blog monster that's eaten it.
Congratulations Karin. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

  13. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful set of dies here, I resisted getting them because I thought I would not need them, and then a couple of months ago, I saw so many samples that I relented and bought both this set and the typewriter set, they really are amazing, I am so pleased I finally bought them.

    Congratulations Karen

Pam, not sure if you are alright, hopefully nothing is wrong.

Special thoughts go to everyone who need them especially Elaine, Helen, Andrew and Rosemary. I know there are lots more on the blog so please do not be offended if I have not mentioned you.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  65. Hello Sue,
I watched the video with interest as I am really thinking about the alphabet grid! I have alphabet Dies but they are mainly too big to leave more than the briefest message! You have won me over - again!! Today’s card is lovely and I love the cake too!
When I read your introduction I thought you were going to enter BakeOff !! Lol!
I’m not sure what exactly is going on ! I don’t know who has published and who hasn’t . All I want to say is that it’s a very great shame that people are hurt and that includes Sue!
I have never been involved with Facebook! I’m glad! I never will!
Please ladies - come back - you know who you are and you will be sadly and sorely missed!
Pam - I do hope you are ok! I hope I see your name at 6am tomorrow, God Willing! Well - if you are me not quite 6am!!!

  71. Dear Sue and Friends,

The grid alphabet is growing on me. I love how the flowers balance out this card, not only by holding down that corner, but also to contrast squares with curves.

On yesterday's tree card, I'm delighted that some of the leaves reflect a dark color and others reflect a light color. And the fence looks more real when it has two levels. I have the technology for that card.

I hope the loss of Elaine and Rosemary is only temporary. And that you find solace while you're away. Pam, we miss you.

Well it's cold in Florida! We went to a spaghetti supper at the over-55 community where Dad is renting a double wide for six weeks. Some of the men were wearing shorts, but most people had on sweatshirts and jackets. Our landlady's mother drove us over in her golf cart. I didn't want to show up in my down coat with faux fur hood, but I was cold in my jacket. I think it was about 50 today, getting colder overnight. People told us a 10-foot alligator lives near our spot, which is right on the water.

    Thinking warm thoughts for everyone.

    Donita

I really love this card and am so tempted to buy the appropriate dies but my WANT list is so much longer than my NEED list that I will have to wait a while I think. I already have 3 alphabet die sets and I don't sell cards and....and....Can you tell i'm trying to resist?

Congratulations to Karin and hope you enjoy your comment win.
