ReplyDeleteYou have given us many wonderful days from last Christmas day to this, so all I wish for is that you will spend a loving happy fun day with your family with laughter bouncing off every wall whichever home your at today but not your craftroom, there seems to be some lovely films to watch today, so if the 'boys' have football to watch take a glass or two of wine, a snuggly channeal throw and watch a happy film or even take a relaxing slumber - with no dreams of die designs lol. So I wish you a very happy day full of family love.

I've loved seeing your Christmas cards this year, so many different types and styles and each has made me smile.
It's lovely to see so many familiar names, a special hug to all those who I've "talked" to in the past. But sadly I learnt today of Tracy's passing over on Tina's blog and I'm thinking of her family and Graeme especially.
For the fan club, Billy is doing very well, 8 and a half, still a crazy, cheeky big hairy dog who thinks he's one 1/6th of his size. The care staff that visit are all madly in love with him, he worked out how to crawl under my wheelchair as I leave the room to answer the door so now he has to go on his lead (that he wears when working) and lays on Mr's bed while I shower and dress. He got more pressies than Mr and I put together. He sends waggy woofs to all his human and animal friends and wishes them a woofy Christmas.
Mr got another job last summer at a different college and has made himself indispensable. Its The same college where some of my former students attend a bridging course so he often gets accosted at lunchtimes and has to play messenger for me.
Me? Not the time and place. All's to say is I'm well as can be and that's all I can ask for. I'm lucky in a lot of ways and today's news about poor Tracy re-enforces that.
Hope Santa brought you crafty gifts galore and hope whatever you did, what you believe and whether you had company or not you had a lovely festive season. Merry Christmas, happy Hannuka or a lovely Yule... Whether you celebrate one or more, I hope it was fabulous!
I shall be back soon as my body, my energy reserves, my mind and my head all synchronize once more. Two of them I'm slowly getting the hang of so hopefully I'll will be round more once again (I know I've said this before but you must always have hope). Take care, stay warm (can hear the wind battering the house as I say this) and happy crafting,

I can't wait to play with my new dies hopefully tomorrow when everyone has gone and husband is back at work.Had a hectic day yesterday and my house looks a total mess.June I too have spent every Christmas with my brother it was really strange him not being there and a few tears were shed.Mum managed dinner with us and we took her back home straight after. Stephanie I know you don't talk about your problems but I hope the reason you couldn't open your presents yesterday was nothing serious.

ReplyDeleteThe last lot of inspiration! Do you mean to say I have to wait for eight months for more Christmas inspiration? I will need to peruse the last few day's blogs very closely and see if it can get me going and producing for next Christmas a little sooner than I did this year?

I had to say, these cards have all been wonderful. I am so grateful to you, Sue, for all the inspiration you have given me this year. Looking forward to next year's collections and playing with all the new dies I have been lucky enough to receive for Christmas.
