Merry Christmas

Good Sunday morning all!  Today's card is a bit of a twist on yesterday's card.  Even though it is very similar, I think it still looks quite different.  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Poinsettia Trellis embossing folder for background texture.  Next, out of coconut white card, I cut four Snowflake Flourish Corners and four of the straight pieces from the same set.  I glued then all together to form one large frame and added mounting foam to the back to raise them.  I attached them to the embossed background and added small pearls as accents.  For the focal element, I cut the Frosty Frame twice out of silver pearl card.  I cut them both in half and trimmed away a bit so they were square when reassembled.  I crossed them and attached them in the centre of the frame.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the oval from the set and seated it on the tag, also cut in white.  The sentiment was attached to the middle of the die cuts which covered the line which showed from the dies being cut.  White and silver mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.

The winners of this week's Comment Game are:

DeCor!!!
Janice K!!!
Suzette Yandle!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

    Congratulations to comment game winners.
Elaine, your Chrustmas plans for Christmas Day and Bixubg Day lunch at the restaurant sound fantastic, no prep, no worrying about it all coming together at same time, no stress and mostly no clean up, genius, you are doing the right thing as you are so fatigued. You will have a great time, parties fir two days, yay.. I am very happy that Andrew and Mary are feeling better too.
Barbara, please be careful, cornered animals can be dangerous. Think of yourself now, you don't need him. 2018 will be your year.
My Dave day was brilliant, he was a little gem, spent most of his time snuggled into my side in my chair sleeping. We had a walk and he was so good but it was very cold out. He is a messy eater though, I got the vacuum out and he kept barking and running round it, so funny. I was sad to see him go Home.
Rosemarie, hooe the hedgehogs do well. I watch the Wikdlife SOS programmes, they are funny little creatures.
Ann thank you fir the tip on the Spellbinders handle. Always good to know as my Calibur is a back up too.
Warming hugs to all, esoecially our poorly and missing friends. Maureen have you run off with Laine.

As it's market morning I have much to do so before I send my love and hugs to you I must congratulate out 3 lucky ladies enjoy your gift xxx

Todays card, made me wake up lol. I thought the colour had gone from my computer as it reminds me of the old grey scale pictures before our life got filled with colour. Very pretty card though and the combination of the white and grey gives it a very different look.

Sorry I didn't comment yesterday, I loved your card and as usual a brilliant video. Today's card gives the frosty frame such a different look. It's amazing really considering it's the same die just a different colour. Love the fact you can chop it half to create a square focal element, I'm more of a square type of girl!

Pam glad you enjoyed your Dave day, maybe you could borrow him more often.

  75. Hello Sue,
I’m very late as have just got home having been out for most of the day!
It’s such a busy time of year but you are busy too! So sorry I didn’t comment yesterday - I did watch the video though and I shall be trying out that great tip of cutting the Frosty Frame into a square! I liked yesterday’s card much better than today’s but that’s just personal preference.
I haven’t thought to use the “ outline” poinsettias on their own. Very effective indeed!
I’m about to go to bed as it’s been a long day.
We had a lovely family lunch at an Italian Retaurant for our 12 year old grandsons birthday. It was great food and great company!
Will try to catch up tomorrow, I promise! All being well!
