  2. Gorgeous card Sue, it is stunning and the frosty tone on tone is beautiful.
Congratulations to our winner, Nanny Jo, you will be thrilled today.
Elaine, I know it is an anxious time for you but try not to worry, sending you a huge comforting hug.
Barbara, I hope all went well for you at the party, I would be surprised if the affair came as a surprise to all of the rest of the staff, normally someone always knows or suspects. Stay strong, you can get through this, it's not easy but you can do it.
Myra, thank you for the update on Norah, I miss her so much and her telling about her lovely Glenochils. I hope she has a lovely Christmas.
    Saba, you are naughty lol.
I'm looking after Kelly's puppy, Dave, what a name for a French Bulldog, whilst they go Christmas Shopping. The twins are with their dad today so I will collect them at teatime. My secret Santa was a beautiful pen, the case is white with a floral pattern and a twist action, and is well balanced in your hand. It looks really special and was accompanied by Chocolate, always good.
Sharon, hope the pesky bites have eased, I always get bitten too.
Daily hug basket is out, sending plenty to poorly and missing friends.
I too think of Tracey daily and hooe Graeme and the family are coping with this tragedy.

  6. Ohhh Sue I don't have enough words available at 6.10 to describe just how absolutely stunning this sample is. Not only have you used one of my most favourite colour card, its tone on tone and full of delicate sparkle, what a dream of a sample to start my Saturday with. I spent part of yesterday cutting and ice snowing last year's snowflake and threading them with white twine to hang from the front of my table tomorrow and it looks really sweet and festive, so thank you for giving me the tools to be able to think of using this die for decor too. Just as I was puttering away my little gingerbread guys turned up - the reason they were late was due to suppliers stock take, would they order from CE I wondered I'd have thought so ? Anyway they slept well ready to go to work today and boy do they have a rushed job on their hands, as they will also be used not only on the last minute cards but they'll be making a grand appearance also on my table ☺
    I can't wait to play.
In my excitement I almost forgot to congratulate you JoJo on your lovely card from Sue, enjoy
Sending love and Saturday hugs xx

  39. Good Morning Sue. Simply stunning.... beautiful. I can't think of more words to express my delight on seeing this delicate sample. I will have to watch the video later as we have last minute shopping this morning and the sooner its done the better. Then we have to start the dreaded Christmas clean down. Well once it's done we can sit back and relax... or craft I know which I will be doing.... I love every second I spend in my little craft room.
Can I just write a little bit of information that might help anyone with a broken handle on a Grand Calibur machine. A little while ago I read somewhere that if the handle broke on your Grand Calibre.... as it did on mine, completely shattered it.. to email Spellbinders support and they would replace it free of charge!!! Well I couldn't believe it but I gave it a try... lo and behold within a day I had a reply and within a week I received a new handle...post and package free as well... how brilliant is that. I now have a sturdy standby. When the handle broke my hubby bought me my early Christmas pressie of a Gemini Machine which I love. So to anyone who doesn't know about this..... please don't despair just get in touch. They were so very helpful.
    Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

Good luck with the dog sitting Pam. I am over-wintering two little hedgehogs because my local wildlife hospital have been swamped with more than they can cope with. My Grandchildren are disappointed as they don't do anything!!!!! They are very cute but boy do they smell, their cage needs cleaning out everyday.

Brrrr it is a cold one here, loving todays card beautiful flowers with just the right amount of sparkle it looks so classy.I plan to watch the video after my busy day .
Well done to Nanny Joo Joo

Pam your gift sounds lovely , i plan to do a little shopping if the frost thaws i usually leave the wreaths until Christmas eve but with the weather as it is i think i will get them done too if i can . John's Sister from Cardiff has invited herself over for Christmas for 3 days , { for the first time ever we have booked Christmas Lunch and Boxing day lunch at a Restaurant } i just do not feel i could cope with all the cooking .
I must admit i do feel anxious about my heart scan as i am getting tired so easily of late , so i just hope the valve has not closed anymore .
Andrew has now started to feel a little better with less pain and Mary is coping better too .

    Echoing Pam again today
Take care everyone and stay warm
    Big hugs to all

Last night went even better than I thought it would! He now has to meet with his bosses and discuss this matter. They do not allow employees to date each other and are a very family oriented business that believes in the sanctity of marriage. They are of the belief that if you will cheat on your spouse then you won’t be someone that they will entrust their company with. He was Very surprised that I even had pictures to share. I really did do my homework before blasting!

  83. Dear Sue and Festive Friends,

You have my number, and it's tone on tone. So much appeal in one card! Thank you!

This technique could help all those who wish for more square die sets. Probably not every elongated shape lends itself to trimming into a square, because of the need to hide the seam, but I'd wager a lot more than we think.

Lucky you, Pam, getting a Dave day! I hope you'll tell us how it went.

Hang in there, Barbara. He wasn't thinking of consequences but now he will. The more you focus on finding your own path, the better off you'll be.

Congratulations to Nanny Joo Joo! We behold you with awe now! Are we all invited to come look at it in your house?

Elaine, it's very likely that your fatigue has to do with the hectic pace you keep up, the stress you're coping with and all the emotional work you're doing to be strong for everyone. My guess is that a heart problem is pretty far down the list. Thank goodness the weather kept you in for a few days.

Well done to everyone who is keeping up or almost keeping up with the holidays. It's impossible! But you're doing it!

    Love,
    Donita

I've almost finished my Christmas cards, I think I only have 3 more to do but unfortunately as I was cutting last evening, with a loud noise my cutting plate on the beautiful Gemini broke almost in half!! what a disaster. I know that I have a replacement somewhere but I have no idea where as I haven't yet finished my unpacking. I do have 2 more cutting machines but am not sure where they are either.
I must go and start my search.
