Festive Collection

  Hello bloggers and welcome back!  Next up on offer is the Birch Tree Forest die.  I love that it is the perfect accompaniment to the Woodland Animals and Winter Wonderland die sets, but it can also be used with so many more die sets and stamps.  The die has been designed without outer cutting edges so you can extend your forest area as I have done in the sample shown here.  It layers up beautifully to create the illusion of a more dense forest as well.  This is a die that will also give you a great starting point for male cards.  It is definitely not just for Christmas either, think all year round on this one.  One comment on this blog post is all you need to be the winner of this drawing!  I will be back at 3pm with the next die set in the release.  All for now, Sue x

    Oh Sue, enchanting, it draws you in, I want to get all cosied up and go looking for deer and other forest wildlife,Andy has come home several times to report he's been lucky enough to see a beautiful deer in our local country park, what a sight at 6am, so I'm thinking a lovely card for him with some association attached, thank you once again for the most brilliant thought process ☺ your just amazing xx

    Sue, I couldn't see the use of this in my card naming. Once again you proved me wrong, this is a great die and I love the moon behind the trees. Goes well with the Woidland animals.

    I have always wanted a birch tree set like this. There are several around and I have used a couple that did not cut very well (no names) so I am glad that I can get a Sue Wilson die like this and it will cut well.

    Very nice card. Can't wait to get them all. To hard to pick favourite because they honestly are all great designs. I moved from ONTARIO to ALBERTA and I live an hour away from EDMONTON. If there are any Sue Wilson fans in Edmonton I would love to meet up with some fellow card makers. In the area I live there are no scrapbooking clubs or retreats that I have heard about. I would really like to be around people that will help me grow as a card maker and have a common hobby as me so we will have lots to talk about.

    A bunch of birch trees is always a good start for some of my cards I make for the men in my life. This Birch Tree Forest" die is perfect to go with your "Woodland Animals" die set. Both of these die sets will make my designing time shorter when making those special cards for my male family members and friends. Why is it harder for me to make those masculine cards!?

    Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
    This woodland is a needed extra for the woodland creatures to hide behind and forage for their food. It makes for a good card for all sorts of reasons, good and bad, happy and sad. There is so much that can be said about and used for in this barren woodland, making 3d cards for one.

    Fabulous card Sue, you can almost feel the quietness in the forest. The diecut would work using it as a stencil too I think. It's gone on the wish list, I think it would be a really useful die to have.

    This Birch Tree Forest die does lend itself to cards for men, but I think it is equally appealing to anyone who loves nature. The deer family and the bunny are great accents to this unique card. Being able to extend the Birch Tree Forest die is an added plus. Anyone would be delighted to own this die.
