Festive Collection

Hi crafters!  The Snowflake Edger die set is on offer here in this blog post.  The set includes three beautiful edgers that will add some distinctive beauty to any of your festive cards and projects.  Shown here, the snowflake edger has been used for a double sided petticoat look.  The other two edger in the set will add either a regal star border or a frosty icicle look to your cards.  You did see the star edger on an earlier post (the Radiating Star) and the icicle edger will make an appearance on a later card.  Add you name to the comment list here for a chance to win this set.  Last post today is at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. This is a very pretty card. The colours are beautiful, it has a frosty look to it. I think your Edger, Striplet and Gemini dies are so versatile . I use at least one of them on cards and it looks like I Need to have these one's as well LOL. See you later for the last post of day 4.

    What a useful collection of Festive edgers. The star border can be used for other occasions and the icicle border could be used for Halloween or as a grassy border.

It does seem strange looking at snowflake dies and cards when we have hot sunny weather but I'm getting used to it!! Thank you for sharing.

    Hi Sue and the Wilsonettes,
    Oh we're back to the pretty ones again that make such beautiful and so different and unusual christmas cards and the beauty you are showing just emphasizes what i am talking about. It's so nice when we can make something that is so different, so definitely hand made and so special. The 3 dies lets us have a huge variety of styles and designs so taking us into so many different pathways. I normally try and make up about 3 dozen cards for my friends' church for them to sell so that they can do something that wee bit special for the children. I hope that there are enough for them all but they always go that fast and i just can't keep up with it. Bringing designs like this Sue lets me use up my scraps that i hate to throw away on projects that do a lot of good for others because i can bulk cut out and make various things that can bring in that wee bit extra funds. Thank you Sue for such beautiful designs again this year, but can you have a word with our bank managers so that we can buy them all, please? :-D
    Ok, i haven't been that great as i have been running around for lots of things that had to be done like medicals and taking my Rory to the hospital again. It knocks the stuffing out of me that only thing i'm fit for is sleeping. As for the medical, well it has left me absolutely jiggered between the walking to get there, the time being seen and then the journey back home. They only have one office in the whole of Scotland that these medicals can take place in and it has no parking anywhere even close, so involved a lot of walking at which it is not my best attribute. Friday was wee Harry#s 2nd birthday so Kirsten had a party for the old foggies on Friday for him and his wee buddies are coming today for their party. I am sorry that i haven't been around but heyho not much i can do about it but if anyone does see energy top up on sale, i am badly in need of it,

    Hi Sue, well this is not what I expected - a card made with edgers and what lovely edgers they are. I did spot the stars on a previous card and look forward to seeing what you do with the icicles. I think this would be a very versatile set that is not just seasonal.

    Three very pretty borders (I spy the star border I commented on the other day). The icicles would also make great grass, and as stars are not just for Christmas this is another all year round set. Thanks Sue.

    What a stunning card, i love snowflakes and this highly versatile die creates the most beautiful border....what a monumental bargain though, not one but THREE different borders, each with its own character and desirability what more can we ask for or indeed expect of you in all your fabulousness Sue:-)
    Trying desperately to catch up with all of today's posts, its a marathon, but well worth it to see all of the positive and congratulatory comments on this latest launch, Sue will be so pleased.....:-)

    What a beautiful card, I love the snowflake edger, it's a definite for me. Can't wait to see the icicle being shown. Now you might think I'm nuts ( you wouldn't be the only one) but I think the icicle edger could even be turned into a flower by rolling up the bottom edge! Sorry Sue, my brain does get some funny ideas!

    I've had such an exhausting, but enjoyable day, but now I'm ready to sit back, put my feet up, relax and catch up on the new release. It's quite nice doing it all at once.     I can see that this Snowflake Edger die will be a very versatile die and can be used year round. That is a plus. You think of everything! It is such a blessing that you design many of your dies to be used in multiple ways. Love the petticoat card, using the snowflake edger!

    ...and with 4 dies in the set this is going to be so useful - the icicles could also be used for grass if cut a few times, so perfect for garden scenes along with the picket fence...

    "Frosty icicle look" is a good description for the "feel" of this card design. I will think: no snow or ice for I am not ready for winter, but something to COOL off this heat wave that is happening in my area.
