Festive Collection

Hello and welcome back!  The last post for today is focused on the Art Deco Snowflake.  This die set has a very modern feel to it and will look fabulous for those clean and simple look cards.  Or, you can use it layered up with other dies for a completely different look.  The sample shown here has been created in just that manner.  The Art Deco snowflake is layered up on the Lace Snowflake so you can see that they will work especially well together.  You know the drill by now, leave a comment if you would like a chance to be the lucky one that wins this die set (someone has to win!).  We will be starting day six at 6am in the morning.  All for now, Sue x

    Who would have ever described snowflakes as elegant? Yet that's just what they are in the magnificent card. Lots of sparkle and shine glistening just like real snowflakes in the sun.

    My favourite card of the day, love everything about it, the layering of both snowflake dies is genius and creates a stunning focal point. Add to that a bit of bling and i am one happy bunny:-)
    It has been a dreadfully successful day of wonderful posts, the card samples are outstanding and inspirational whilst the dies are fresh, new and totally original.
    Yvonne, so worried about little Dillon, i hope everything went okay at the vets earlier, please keep us updatedxxx

    There have been some lovely samples today but this for me is the best of them all. I love everything about this card, it's got the wow factor and the Art Deco Snowflake has moved into pole position on my wish list, sorry Glad Tidings sentiment you're now in second place.     Yvonne hope you are alright, we're getting concerned about Dillon.
    Pam so sorry you are suffering, hope you get some relief for your breathing when hopefully it cools down overnight. Maybe a trip,to,the Go for advice, especially if you are in for a really hot summer.
    Elaine, it was wonderful to hear of Andrews friends being so kind and generous, it's what good friends do and that's when you know you have genuine friends, bless them all. I hope he has a wonderful time.

    Oh my word this is such a delight to behold. Everything about this card is absolutely exquisite. It screams luxury and class x
    This launch is so overwhelming Sue and you have completely blown me away - I know I am not alone x
    Well Dillon is a little perkier - thank goodness. We took him to the vets on Saturday because he was limping and had a problem with his paw. He couldn't put weight on it and was bending it back under itself to walk on. On top of that he was so lethargic. He is so energetic normally but he was just lifeless and kept whimpering - it was pitiful.
    The vet examined him and after she didn't find anything significant gave Dillon a pain relieving injection to see if it made any difference - the theory being that if it didn't seem to make any difference then it was more than likely a neurological problem!
    Second visit to the vet - another examination and a long discussion with the vet as Jake asked so many questions and wanted to know the worst case scenario. Sent home with 2 lots of tablets which are specifically to target pain or problems associated with neurological issues.
    I am pleased to say after Dillon's first dose of medication there is a marked difference x
    Apologies for the long winded story but I tried to be as brief as possible. We are to monitor Dillon til Thursday then Jake will speak to the vet and decide if an x ray on Friday is the next step x

    This one also has a lovely center. And it does look good layered with the Frosty Snowflake frame.

    If I had to choose, I'd still say The Lattice Holly Frame and the Noelle Frame. Then the three wise men.

    Just like a true snow storm - layers and layers of snowflakes! Great layering, glitz, and shadows. What could have been a "too busy" design is so well put together that one does not get that feeling from your design. Sue, you are a terrific designer. I am so inspired by your designs.
