Festive Collection

Hi crafters!  Another double die post.  We are showcasing both the Lace Snowflake Frame and the Let It Snow Snowflakes die sets.  The sample shown here shows how well these two sets work together too.  The Lace Snowflake Frame has a hexagonal shape with a parchment craft feel to it, sort of like the edges have been hand cut with Pergamano tools.  The Let It Snow sentiment is beautifully readable but has the added detail of various snowflakes woven into the lettering for a real frosty feel.  Both sets will add so much detail to your festive cards and projects.  You can see that they look lovely with the Snowflake Edger that was shown in earlier blog posts.  Please let me know what you think of these two in your comments.  Do you have a favourite die set yet?  Just a quick reminder too, don't forget to make your nae memorable on those comments.  Use a alias or some other form of identifying yourself from everyone else leaving comments.  You would be surprised how many people with similar names leave comments!  I will be back at 6pm for the final post for today  All for now, Sue x

    Oh I like the snowflake, it's so pretty and does all the picot cutting for you if you cut it out of parchment. Mine needs a lot of practise! The word dies have all be lovely, very pertinent sentiments, just right for Christmas what a super card too, you are spoiling us. Thank you for sharing.

    Hmmm, just loving all these snowflake dies Sue, any chance that CE could make sure there's enough Iced Snow to go round please as I invisage mega amounts of bling being used this year, a mega blingfest and how stunning will it look enhancing already stunning dies. Oooo for ounce I can't wait to start on my festive cards, not that my brain can see what it wants to do with them, that will come in time (I hope) !! I just want them ready for when that miracle happens lol.

    Love these dies, the card is delicate, ethereal and very beautiful but I can imagine would be a strong statement card in more traditional colours. You are a whizz Sue.

    What a lovely design of snowflake and yes it does have a parchment look to it. Love the hexagonal shaped inner dies too, so useful for other occasions too. It should always snow at Christmas so a perfect sentiment die as well.

    Hello Sue,

    The colors that you have chosen for this card give such a cool, soothing feel to it and really showcases the dies. The amount of detail that you have added to the Lace Snowflake Frame is incredible. A magical snowflake that's perfect enough to be the real thing. Love all the little snowflakes attached to the sentiment and if you didn't want them, so easy to snip away without affecting the sentiment.

    Hi Sue , your making it so hard to pick a favourite die , I do have to say I love the snowflake , I got the snow flake last year and I always like Let it snow sentiments and dies you have done.. Another stunning card I love how the does work together. Up to now my favourite dies will be the snowflakes and the forest animals and the birch tree die set and sentiments . Its to hard to pick one....

    Sue this is another stunning card and i love the colour combo.
    I did have a favourite which was the robin but i confess i can't pick a favourite after that one now as i love them all.
    I love the little detail around the edge of this and the centre can be used on so many other cards.
    And the more i see that edger die the more i have to have it.

    Really like the way you did the wording on this die. Not sure if I like the outer edge of the die on the card...still thinking about it. I do overall like the card a lot. I am in love with the snowflake edger die. Am pretty sure I have to have that one.

    Love both of these - the inner hexes in the Lace Snowflake set look like they will work with the Pacific Islands too, so doubly useful and although I already have the previous Let it Snow die this one looks a little bit smaller so it's gone on the wish list as well...

    I think this is a stunning card Sue with that snowflake die in the center of it, it is gorgeous and on that need list along with its partner as together they make a powerful duo.     This is a really COOL looking card! Love it. Your die cuts go so well together. Shows how much thought you put into designing your dies. Great layering, too. I am shaking my head thinking of the amount of time it would take to do the arms of the large snowflake with the Pergamano piercing and sniping tool. Just think of all the time you have saved us crafters with this Snowflake die. I feel "frosty".
