Festive Collection

Hi crafters!  Next up is the Poinsettia Stained Glass die. I love using these dies as there are just so many amazing ways to use them.  You can make a super fat card or take your time and paper piece it or do the glue and glitter method to make it look like a real stained glass window.  This die set can be used in any direction too so you decide which orientation works best for what you want to do.  Loads of versatility with this one.  I will be showing you more ideas for these between now and Christmas too.  Leave a comment on this post if you have your eye on this one and want a chance at winning it!  The last post of the day has been scheduled for 6pm this evening, don't be late! LOL  All for now, Sue x

  37. Hi Sue
    Simply stunning x
I have the stained glass dies from your last collection and they make the most beautiful cards and I have not even scratched the surface of their full potential x
This card could not fail to bring delight to any recipient. The new stained glass dies are going to give me so many hours of crafty fun x
Maureen - your threat of denying a lady of her basic human rights (her tena lady) is pure evil. That said Saba - a lady - hmmmm???!!!! x
Lorraine Freeman - nice to see you x
Laine - not long now - I do recall that we actually managed to be nice to each other throughout our phone conversations during the last launch. We were so excited about Sue's magnificent talent that we forgot how much we don't like each other! Lol. Catch you later x
Well I have to say I cannot choose a favourite. Absolutely love all 3 so far and don't think I will have much luck trying to decide which dies not to purchase - should I rob a bank, sell my body or plead for my birthday money early so I can order the rest of the collection. Have already indulged in a little retail therapy but am now feeling the urge to splurge further x
Lots of love to all especially my blog besties x

  64. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

How utterly fabulous! I adore your stained glass dies, so many options with which to decorate them, they can be used as a quick, c&S option or as a more time consuming project, either way a triumph in design.
It goes without saying that this little beaut will be winging its way home to me just as soon as my credit card has came out of intensive care!:-)
Maureen, Myra is right, are there really any coconuts big enough to do the job intended...wouldn't want a wardrobe malfunction now, would we? As from the grass skirt detracting from your face, well, all I can say is are you sure your legs are up to the scrutiny?:-)
Saba, Yorkshire is indeed Gods own land, never mind this rubbish spouted from those ignorant Geordies:-) My Mum is a Yorkshire lass and i count myself as half Yorkshire so i am right behind you dear.

Fantastic Poinsettia Stain Glass die and card design. So fresh looking. Just wanted to share with you I made my first Hummingbird stain glass card yesterday. I used silk glitter onto a sticky sheet. It was a little hard to get all the colors into the tiny spaces without overlapping into the next space, but I suceeded. Next time I will look for a much smaller device to pick-up and deliver my glitter. I like very much that your stain glass dies are smaller than many of your other dies. This way I can use all of the dies in the set instead of just using the smaller pieces of the die set. I make those "dinky" cards here in the US.
