Festive Collection

Hi bloggers!  The next die set up on offer is the new Three Wise Men set.  This set has been done in a similar style to the 2017 Angel in that it is slightly smaller in size and it comes with it's own background as part of the die set.  While I have not used the background part of the die in this sample, I have used the large star that is also part of the set, filling in the background with Oxide inks instead.  The Wise Men are done in outline style and I have added a simple white backing to make them stand out more against the backdrop.  This is a truly elegant die set that I am sure you will love using as it makes a lovely simple card, perfect for batch making too.  Leave a comment to be entered into this drawing.  The next post will be online at 3pm today.  I hope to see you back here then.  All for now, Sue x

  30. Afternoon Sue, well you have left me speechless with this sample, not only have we got the 3 wise men but also the lovely star of David (I think they call that one) and the background, as you say a very good die for batch making, I know lots of us do batches of cards for friends, family, charity, etc. etc. and this die ticks all those boxes for me.

Roll on 3pm, I wonder who can guess what die it will be (or even combination of dies), yes Sue we know you like to use different combinations.

  57. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Many people really appreciate a more traditional Christmas theme and this fantastic die will suit their needs perfectly....the added bonus of a beautiful background makes this die even more appealing. I love the simplicities of this card, not everyone likes an overload of glitter on their card and this subtle background would be perfect for them....i personally, cant get enough of tack and glitz at Christmas but i do appreciate that its not everyone's cup of tea.
It is patently obvious that my finances are going to take a massive hit following the release of this fabulous collection, i have a real weakness for anything even remotely festive and i am really looking forward to seeing your take on these new treats. You are a true star Sue, who else could consistently come up with new and fresh ideas so consistently....like Yvonne, i am impatient and have to see the dies before the official launch, yes i am the type of person that reads the ending half way through a good novel:-)
Maureen, i was slightly disgusted, nay offended, by your description of your soggy gussets:-) Can i make a polite and helpful suggestion that you utilise Tena Lady for your affliction....Yvonne swears by it now that she has reached a certain vintage:-) It does concern me that this is what i have to look forward to when i too reach my dotage, but there is help out there my dear if you know where to look for it.
Saba, i too would deny all knowledge of Maureen's more intimate problems because people will talk otherwise:-) Teddy bears? I am intrigued, nine woman dressed as Bungle from Rainbow brings me out in a cold sweat......
Thanks for all the kind welcome backs, though i have to admit to being mortally wounded by Carmens offhand, cold greeting, I thought we were friends? And there was I ready to offer you a place to stay if you indeed decided to visit our shores.....not even remotely likely now my dear:-)
    Looking forward to three.....

  63. Hello Sue,
Absolutely love this die. You may call be fickle - many do - but I think I may just prefer this slightly over the angel, although on the other hand ha ha.
Laine, I have all the grass skirts made for our bear outfits (too long to explain) and I've made mine very short to take people's attention from my face! The bra's are taking a bit of thinking about as coconut shells were suggested and I feel that they may be a bit uncomfortable lol.
In case you think we are totally loco, I think it was Jess that came up with this idea ha ha.
Looking forward to the 3pm beauties.
Saba, you can protest all you like but the Churches here have posters which say Jesus Loves You, so it proves this is God's own county!!! (and I'll take your tennas off you if you continue to argue!!)
    love to all
