Elaine, special thoughts to you and the family at this very sad time, it's a blessing that Helen has your support to help her.
Donita, what a brilliant idea for making the flowers, must try that one if you don't mind.
June, you are a gem, thank you.
My daughters and grandchildren thought my champers episode was hilarious, I got more than my share , just not to drink lol.
Yvonne, hope the holiday is going well, think our Laine is missing you.

  14. Morning Sue. This is absolutely stunning and can't wait to watch the know how tutorial. If only the customers that request cards would ask for something as pretty without trying to fit a theme in such as red wine, black corsa cars and camper vans, not the split screen mind, it has to be a bay window sort !! Oh well at least I have your beauty to look at. Can't wait to see what the fb buddies take from this sample, what I do know is that each one will be as equally stunning as yours. I do hope you are following your CE friends by doing a live show for HOCHANDA at AP again this year as for various reasons I won't be going, health and distance being a couple of the problems 😕 So I'll send a hopeful hug and hope this gets through on the second attempt ! Have a lovely day Sue xxx

  18. Dear Sue and Enthralled Fans,

Thank you for this beauty! Somehow I saw this before and ordered the gilding polish. I'm trying not to order Olivia, but she has been calling to me.
Today I did some damage at the printers supply store. Got more colors of Stardream, and four colors of vellum, plus three reams of white card stock and a ream of Desert Storm. Also envelopes. My first car didn't cost that much.
Glad you're safely home, Pam. It's lovely of you to endorse the idea of cutting lots of flowers at once. Next I'll do the same with greenery. Or whitery, the way Sue does tone on tone foliage.
Knowing me, making a card is usually an act of desperation under extreme time pressure. Mainly I do my best with what's available. I like John's idea of cutting one of everything from each color as soon as he gets new dies and paper.
Isn't that gold mirror paper elegant peeking out from behind gracious Olivia!
    Best to everyone.

    Love,
    Donita

  22. Morning Sue,
Beautiful elegant card today those noble dies do make lovely frames. This could have flowers and tulle added to it for a lovely wedding or anniversary card and perhaps a few pearls here and there. I have been cutting orange blossom leaves in various colours, as this is my go to die for foliage. I now have quite a few that I can just choose from when adding flowers and embellishments to my cards. Thank you for your video, it is so kind of you.

  82. Hello Sue,
The Olivia Die is at the top of my List . It really is lovely. Thank you for the great video and beautiful card. I don't have the corners either but I have other corners . Having said that I love the Atlantic Ocean set but only have the Background Die so far. Being able to just introduce the sliver of gold in the frame emphasises the need for both sets! Currently I just have Set A. They are brilliant dies! I do like the soft gold of that gilding polish as well. It's so subtle but lights up the card. Like the EF as well! I rather like it all!!!
Pat L - have a lovely time in Spain - safe travel and I hope you enjoy the Wedding! Don't forget your hat!!!
Laine - you were very quiet yesterday! Sending you a hug and hoping you aren't unwell. x
Pam - lovely to have you back but didn't June do well!!!

  97. Hello Sue,
You are spot on with your description it is a truly elegant card. Thoroughly enjoyed watching your video and it made me realise just how much I need Set B! The Brambled Rose looks stunning, even more so with the gilding polish applied. Love the hint of gold Miri card in the frame and behind the Olivia. I think I need to order the sweet sentiment stamps as well, they are so clear. I saw one of them in the flesh today! My card from your Wednesday give away arrived in the post!! I can't begin to describe just how beautiful it is. There are layers upon layers of gorgeousness within it. As I'm sure every crafter would, I spent ages examining how it was built up, turning it this way and that, trying to peek underneath to see how many layers of foam you used and generally investigating ever aspect of it. Thank you so very very much Sue, I will treasure it.

Elaine good to hear Helen is coping, you are all in my thoughts.
Lorraine sorry you are feeling "Bleurgh" hope you feel brighter soon. love the expression though.
Pam it was good to see you back where you belong, whatever will we do if you go away for a fortnight. June was a star in your absence.
Pat L have a lovely holiday and enjoy the wedding, maybe a fascinator instead of a hat, easier to transport.
Laine you haven't been in yet, hope all is well.
Well I've splashed out on a new cabin sized suitcase today ready for my trip home next week. It means I will be able to pack more than one pair of knickers and a t shirt in my main suitcase for my stay and still have room to bring some of Sue's new crafting goodies home.

'Missing you' card on the market, just think of the money I could have saved if I was making cards all those years ago!!

  102. Hi Sue,

Gorgeous card that could be adapted for so many occasions as you said. The milk and gold is an elegant combination. Love the brambled rose embossing folder. The gilding polish makes the background very beautiful, very elegant. Thank you for the videos. You make things so clear and I learn so much from each tutorial.

Pam – Good to have to back.
Elaine – Send to you all extra hugs at this sad times. You are in my thoughts.
Pat L – Have a safe trip. Enjoy your holiday in Spain. Congratulations to the new couple!
Maria – I found only one store in Canada carrying Sue’s dies and stamps. I ordered from them 2 times so far. The orders came within 3 days. You pay a lot of taxes, dollar conversion, shipping, etc. A while ago I ordered more dies (to qualify for “free” shipping) paying a small fortune. I didn’t receive the order as of yet so I emailed them … 3-5 days delivery time will be more like 1-2 weeks. I am not happy with them at this moment. I really hope to get it tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I asked Easter Bunny (my hubby) to order a few dies from Sue’s new collection, from Joanna Sheen. This will be a very interesting experiment to see how much we have to pay for a parcel coming from UK.
Also, I like your idea of Wilsonette badge. Unfortunately I won’t be there.
Sandra - Funny way to count the days till Ally Pally. I can feel your excitement. Why only 3 more sleeps? I count 4?!
Saba – Thank you for English lesson. I learned a new expression “have splashed out”.
Laine – Is everything OK there? Some ladies are missing you ... including myself :).

    Best wishes,
