Thanks So Much

Good morning all!  We are touring New Zealand today!  LOL  I started by cutting the New Zealand Background out of coconut white card, using just the outside die first.  I backed it in white, then used the larger cutting die to cut out the centre to create an aperture.  I aadded mounting foam to the back to raise it for dimension.  Next I finished cutting the left over piece from the aperture by using the decorative die.  I backed it in a strawberry card (from my stash) and cut the inside of it to create a smaller aperture.  I added another layer of mounting foam to that piece.  I cut the inisde lattice die out of white card, then backed it in white.  I layered up all the New Zealand cut dies so they were recessed downward.  I used the inside cutting edges to create a frame around the centre aperture and added a small sentient that was stamped and cut out.  I used the Sweetheart Flowers cut in white, then edged in strawberry card as accents around the aperture.  I placed the flowers in clusters in opposite corners and added some Lace Edged Leaves around them.  I completed the card with small flatback pearls in all the flowers and on the background.  A white pierced mat atop a larger white mat was used to finish the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x   8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

I am going to purchase this set of dies to add to my ever growing collection but I will certainly use them this time. It is absolutely stunning, Thank you Sue. I have been a fan of die cutting since seeing you on TV and buying the package you were demonstrating by spellbinder and grand calibre. Even though my mojo was gone I continued to buy your dies for that 'maybe day' when my mojo returned. Looks like today is that day. Thank you again. June.
