Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

 Hello there my crafty friends!  This was my first demo of the past weekend, so having an extra card makes it perfect for a giveaway!  Leave me a comment if you would like to be entered into the drawing to win this one.  I started with a piece of vintage gold card and used the Brisbane cutting edge to cut an aperture in the centre of the card.  I embossed the card with the Rose Blooms Pinpoint embossing folder.  Next I cut the decorative portion of the Brisbane die out of coconut white card.  I added a piece of black card behind it, then centred it behind the aperture opening in the embossed gold card.  Next I cut the Rococo Striplet out of coconut white card and I cut the backing out of black card.  I used the decorative part of the die to imprint, rather than heavily emboss, on to a piece of vintage gold card.  I used the impression to hand cut the centre sort of diamond design out.  I glued it behind the cut out white striplet, then added the solid black backing piece behind it.  I used a paper cutter to cut it directly down the centre and I glued each half to the top and bottom of the embossed gold card.  I cut a double strip of pearls down the centre and added them along the edge of each side of the striplet.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Pierced Flags die and edged it with a gold paint pen.  I created a dimensional flower using the Sweetheart flower, then inked it with a gold paint pen and glittered it with Iced Snow.  I seated it at the end of the sentiment strip on a piece of white tulle and gold cording (from my stash).  I made two matching stick pins to add to the floral element as accents.  I completed the card with white, gold and black mat layers and my usual piercing around the edge.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  There will be a slight delay in announcing the winner this week as I will be away at Ally Pally for the weekend, but I will announce the winner on Monday's blog post this week.  All for now, Sue x
