Finishing Touches

Hello crafters!  What is a blog launch without Finishing Touches! LOL  We have two lovely sets on offer for this post.  Shown here is the Olive Branch, which makes a lovely addition to any floral elements on your cards.  The other set is the Heart Spray, which is simply perfect to go with any of the Special Occasion die sets with it's romantic feel.  Finishing touches are always are go to for our cards to give them the perfect accents, so useful and versatile.  Leave a comment if you like the look of these.  I would just love to hear your opinion on which dies are your favourites!  The final post for today and the launch will be up at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x

    Another way of using the ornamental accents to great effect, love the card and what you have done with the dies. Quite right we can't manage without finishing touches and as always you have come up trumps, thanks Sue.

    Hi Sue,
    I'm sitting chillin with my coffee and the blog pondering the question 'which one is my favourite?'
    A very difficult thing to answer indeed, you really need longer than a coffee break! LOL
    My dawdling took me through the entire launch again, and still I'm in a quandray. Which ones to choose? Can't have them all mores the pity. I do have such a soft spot for the Striplets and the petite's are sooo cute, but the finishing touches are always an essential as they do exactly that!, but who could resist the new pierced nobles? I love my squares and rectangles it would be shame not to have them all! Oh dear what's a girl to do?
    Ah light bulb moment! I should follow my heart and go with the new shadow box dies and the special occasion collection, then drop the hints to the hubbie that the pierced nobles would be fab with them and I should have got them at Ally Pally, he's such a sweetie he'll just say 'well just get them dear' and that way I don't feel guilty! and then over the coming weeks a petite here and a finishing touch there! and I've got my favs :-)

    As much as I love these finishing touches, I'm champing at the bit for the final post today as I know it's going to be the new flowers...and I just adore your flower die sets :).
    The card is delightful, love the colour scheme. As for my favourite Finishing Touch so far...I think I have to go for the Olive Branch :)

    GA Sue. Lovely. I just had to order both of these when I saw them pre launch. The heart sprays will be so lovely for wedding, valentines, anniversary and I have 2 golden wedding anniversary cards to make in the next few months and they will look fab cut in gold I am thinking. They will be a fave die I think!

    Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

    The finishing touches are an essential element of any card creation and make up a substantial proportion of my Sue dies. One of my past favourites was the star spray so to have a heart version is fantastic, and what a lovely partner to the sweetheart flower dies. The olive branch is beautifully delicate and a real must have, it looks stunning on your featured card and I am looking forward to seeing it in more detail at some point on the blog.
    Well, I've now managed to catch up with myself on the launch and look forward to our last post at 6pm

    Just love this card with finishing touches, is that the new poppy die I spied? Poppies are my favourite. I have been pondering which would I choose as an all-time favourite, well I love the Swiss Collection but there again the Belgian are beautiful then Shadow boxes, Configurations, Striplets, New Pierced Nobles, Sentiments, Oh dear Sue I just love them all.

    Hi Sue - well choosing a favourite is far too difficult. This card is beautiful and the olive branch is definitely going to be a favourite. All the dies are amazing but I do like the Swiss collection and also the Gillian die is one of the first I shall be buying, but of course there's still one more card to see! Best wishes

    You always seem to get those touches just right I don't know what one of these two I prefer I think if push came to shove I would go for the leaves I think they are more useable than the hearts

    This card is utterly stunning. As you've already said "whats a blog launch without the Finishing Touches" the answer would be unrepeatab as is " what is a die collection without NEW Finishing Touches to add to it" !! As I've not been able to afford anything else, the FT dies have always been my first die to buy, as I do lots of cards for market floral elements cover most card occasions apart from the men's cards (which may I add these new 'different for you' designs will be so valuable for those) so although the lace effect border and Gillian would be getting me salivating, I think the word greeting dies may have to be the first I save for as I will need to top up my male birthday cards soon. The decision I have to make is - do I add this new collection to Andy's 3 page A4 'Dies I'd like' gift list ready for our June anniversary, or be a good girl and keep on trying to build up the 'not so new' dies ? Hohum what does a girl do ? I really would like at least ONE full collection from the past releases !!
    I'm done trying to make up my mind, I will just be patient and wait for the final FT of the launch which I know will be the first I buy (just for market purposes you understand) so we can't count that as MY personal treat lol. See you later xxx

    Love that delicate olive branch! Fabulous card! It is one of my favorites (I can see it being used so often!), and my other favorite is the Stitched Lattice Frame die! Hard to pick one favorite, as I also LOVE the Ornamental Accents, so I have those on my wish list as well!

    I have my eye on the Nobel sets, striplets and some others, I have just ordered the shadow box birthday, mr&mrs and the happy birthday strip die and the bold thank you to make cards for the nurses in hubby's ward, just need to find time to play

    I cannot tell you how much I love this card. This has just shot right to the top of my OH MY WORD HOW STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL list.
    Of course, all your cards are on that list but this one ..............
    Sue this is transcendently sublime. I have been staring it for at least 5 minutes looking at all the elements x
    I have definitely got the heart spray ear marked as being part of my collection.
    Well second to last post and have mixed feelings - excited about seeing what perfection you have in store for us but sad that we are near the end of this launch, which I think has been one of your best yet Sue. You are like a fine wine - you just get better with age x
    I am feeling very relieved that it has been a quiet day and nothing has stopped me from getting my fix.

    This one Sue looks like a fancy fan that has been spread out and the colours are just so beautiful. I love your different leaf sets and today's is no difference but your little heart fronds are so pretty as well, nice for a valentines day card with roses on it, makes for a subtle hint,no? Please come back with videos for some of your creations(this one please) as they are so pretty and so different. You will be glad when you are at the end of your release but i hope that you have been well and truely delighted at the response you get from your different die releases as it kind of makes all the hard work worth going through knowing that they are going to be a hit. THank you flower and have a nice long relaxing bath tonight now that it is all done.

    Lovely fan shape, card showing the versatilities of your dies, Sue. I have been trying to make up my mind which leaf spray die to buy, this has made up my mind as I just love the delicacy of the olive branch. However it sounds as if your dies are selling out fast on the web sites!
    I also particularly liked the Bruge dies, it seems a long time ago since you showcased them! I also like the configurations, not to mention the strip lets, then of course the Swiss dies & I could go on. These are all going on my wanted list. Think I need to get a job! Thank you for an exciting launch Sue.

    I have seen your gorgeous new poppies appearing on many a card throughout this stunning launch Sue (I think, I hope Lol) & because you can make them look so versatile or traditional then these will be super popular, what am I saying, oh yeah! along with every other die, that you have so arduously & lovingly & cleverly created within this launch.

    Heart spray; what a super idea sue as I can see this being included on a get well card aswel, certain to bring a smile to the, unwell, recipients face. The card is a wow factor for me aswel Sue, a triumphant winner, to place the ‘Ornamental Accents’ (had to scroll down for this*lol) into a fan shape is really so delightful & charming, hope my hat pulls this out pretty quick on my next draw from it. Thank you for sharing Sue, you must be feeling rather elated that your stunning designs have been so eloquently & rapturously received x x x

    Another gorgeous card and agree that these are a definite must have.
    A card isn't finished unless it has some beautiful touches to go with the flowers.
    I love both of these especially the olive branch.
    That is another two dies on my list.
    It is a good job I can't buy these in the supermarket otherwise I would come
    out with all of them and no food lol

    I am so happy to see these cards today. I loved them on your card samples and then forgot to take pictures at AP. I cut a load of the exisquisite poppy out and have been fiddling with them and made some nice flowers but it is so so helpful to see yours!! I even tried to find a You Tube where you used these with no luck. Thank you thank you! I wish I would have picked up the other finishing touches now.
