ReplyDeleteGosh Sue, this is beautiful love the way you have done the background and what a great tip for the sentiment, one I will certainly be trying. Thank you for sharing, Such a beautiful card and as usual a great video.
ReplyDeleteWendyx
Great video. Do you ever apply the ink to the inside of the embossing folder to achieve the inking step and the embossing/debossing at the same time? Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card today....always thankful for videos....I'm such a visual learner.
Jan D., Florida, USA

Have a great time at the CHA.
Hugs, Rose
That's beautiful and I love the effect of the heat embossing. I would never have thought of doing it on the background card like that. I learn something new every day from you Sue!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteLoved watching your informative video, also what a beautiful card, just my favourite colour too.
Different techniques throughout, loved the heat embossing too. (Old favourite of mine, so must try and use it more often).
Love n hugs from Dorothy of Baldock
I will watch the video later Sue but the card is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteWeefortune, I am so sorry for your loss.
Laine, I had a set of circle dies (not SW!) and have two presents on their way one of which could be more dies. All orders have arrived and I now have £20 Amazon credit plus more cash to spend. I am so lucky. I hope Darcy is better now. I do not envy you the task of getting cats into baskets.
Maria A, thank you I had a lovely but tiring day, I was too exhausted to go out in the evening.
Hazel T, I hope you had a wonderful 60 th.
Congratulations Debra.
Thanks to Frances, Theresa, Cheryl and Long Island Jan for my birthday wishes. I appreciate them all.
Wheely, thank you too. I hope the migraines continue to ease.
My head does not like me today but I have popped along to a friend's open house to look at the new Stamping up catalogue. It's very nice stuff but expensive and I would rather spend my money on Sue items. Made a pretty thank you card so that will be very useful. At least I can combine Christmas and Birthday :)
Going to chat to my Mum and the see if daughter wants to watch some tv. If not then I shall play with some goodies.
Wishing good things to all xxx

What a great idea for making the sentiment pop!
ReplyDeleteA very lovely card Sue. I am looking forward to watching the video, as I have several new ones to catch up on. When I'm folding clothes I sit and watch Sue all morning, it makes laundry a chore to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteLove the Color and brilliant to heat-emboss the framing as well as sentiment for super lovely shine that makes this such a beauty! (I also like to off-set sentiments with extra layer in a darker tone to make it pop even more). Adding the extra layers always creates a great look of amazing dimension and I love that you've done that here. Fabulous way to use longer multi-ribbons too. So gorgeous. Another great Video!
