Finishing Touches

Hello and welcome back to our final blog launch post.  I have saved the flowers for last as I always love showing off the new flowers!  On offer this post we have the Orange Blossoms Complete Petal set, the Orange Blossom Open Petal set and the Orange Blossom leaves.  They all work together or by themselves.  There are also matching stamps to the complete petal and the leaves that are available that really add so much detail to these.  The Open petal style and the leaves have been used in this sample so you can see just how pretty they look.  I do hope that something has tickled your fancy during this release.  This is the last time I will remind you to leave your comments.  The drawings  for each die will be held and the winners' names will be posted on the blog on Sunday Nov. 22nd in the afternoon so don't forget to check back to see if your name is on the list!

Just a quick note to let you know that Julia Watts will be on Hochanda tonight to launch a new One Day Special at 8pm!  Don't forget to tune in to see her them!

I also forgot to announce the winner of this week's Wednesday card giveaway in all the excitement!  The winner is:

Yvonne H!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card.    All for now, Sue x

  15. Hi Sue, you certainly have saved the best until last, it is 'GORGEOUS' fantastic.

I would like to say a really big THANK YOU on behalf of myself and all Wilsonettes for not only this collection but all of them, every single die and stamp set is beautiful, versatile and useful in it's own right, without you at the helm we could not produce such wonderful creations especially with the inspiration and video's that you do.

    Congratulations Yvonne

Good luck everyone, hopefully there will be lots more followers on Sue's magnificent blog, it is the first thing I go to every day.

Stay safe, (especially in this very bad weather we are expecting in the UK this evening) healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxxxx

  23. Hi Sue,
Another set of beautiful flowers. Super card. I used to make bobbin lace and the Corvus Gemini die reminds me of a lace wedding garter I made for my niece.
Congratulations on a spectacular launch, looking at the packaging on web sites does not do justice to the versatility of the dies. I can't single out a favourite I like them all.

All your flower dies are wonderful, but I've got to wait for these ones as I am running out of space. Did pre-order the leaves though and have heavily hinted to the hubby that I want the flowers. Love the value for money with your flower dies and the fact that you give us varying sizes and multiples - makes it so easy to use them. These are a beautiful addition to any card and add a touch of class every time as shown off by this card.

  91. Afternoon Sue and everyone
I think this has got to be my favourite card of the whole launch. Every single card has bought a huge smile to my face and has been stunning but this one is definitely the best you saved til last.
It has been a wonderful 5 days with your generosity knowing no bounds and giving us inspiration and a chance to win some precious metal. I get so excited and feel like a small child on Christmas Eve whenever we have the pleasure of having each and every beauty unveiled to us. This blog is such a joy and I must reiterate how much you are appreciated Sue. Thank you so much x
YVONNE H - congratulations on winning Sue's Wednesday card giveaway. For a second I thought it was me but in true sporting style I am really pleased for you x
I have come to the conclusion whilst looking back over the last few days that I must be tired as I have not once resorted to any underhanded tactics to secure myself a Sue masterpiece. Nor have I mentioned that I am quite obviously Sue's favourite Wilsonette or expressed my undying love for the legendary Sue W!!! I am either tired or going soft in my old age!!
NORAH - I'd love to know what you see when you stare up at the clouds x
MOLLY - so glad that Grandad is home x
LAINE - my boys have been taught by the master. They will make someone a very good wife on day - lol. I had hoped to have another mother/son session tonight but have realised that there is football on which has taken priority over I'm a Celebrity. This is a complete travesty.
Got to say I am doubtful that Brodie is on Father Christmas's nice list. You often tell us what mischief he has decided to play out and I don't know if Santa will be willing to let this behaviour go unnoticed. Besides, if he is avoiding you and I then I doubt very much if he will be prepared to risk satisfying Brodie's yearning through fear of bumping into you in your pj's! Hope your antibiotics have kicked in and you are feeling a lot brighter x
TRACY - sending you a big hug x
WHEELY BAD - I never suffer from brain freeze but my little lonely brain cell often finds life in general an incredible challenge and shuts down altogether x
REBECCA - I am sure Only Fools and Horses would be on Neflix. Feel free to pop over one evening if you're free and you can watch it with us - lol x
THERESA - MIL does not craft. Mindless tv is more her thing x
Ok girls. Until tomorrow when we will be back to just one post per day. Woe is me.
Whatever you are up to I hope you have a good evening
    Crafty hugs
    Yvonne

We can never have enough Flower dies, and those Orange Blossom leaves are gorgeous and will soon be the 'go to' foliage die, mainly due to the lovely shaped leaves and the slight curve in the shape of the branch, giving a lovely flow to your decorative element.

You certainly did save the best till last Sue. I love all these flower dies and just can't wait to get my hands on them. The orange blossom is lovely and I really do so like the leaves. Only one thing, I am so sad this launch has come to an end, but as the saying goes all good things must come to an end and by golly has it been a good few days. Thank you so much Sue, Sue with no pity on my purse!!! LOL Erica Skeeter of Wye

  113. And breathe......well done sue for a fantastic launch I am sure many will be adding at least one new set to their collections. I did say at least one set! ;)) this final showcase is,to me, like a curtain coming down after a hit show. The dies are fab.
Molly, glad to hear your grandad is home I expect you all are very happy to have him home.
Good luck to all, hope you get a visit from the die fairy. Hugs, Theresa. X

  115. Hi Sue,

What a finale! As much as I love all the flower dies I have none of yours yet... because I can't choose which ones, they're all so pretty!!! These are lovely too, can see many types of flower being made from these. I love the leaves, great with or without the orange blossoms. Plus another very, very pretty card.

I've really enjoyed seeing what can be done with all the new dies, sure we'll see much more of them sprinkled in with your previous releases. Thank you for posting all this, 3 times a day- so much work! We're all very grateful for the effort you put in for us every day but especially so during launches.

Molly, so glad Grandad is home, must a relief for everyone. Hugs x

    Congratulations Yvonne H!

Thresa, I've "proritised" about 16 times so far! Happens every time. Going to buy some Christmas striplets to focus my mind... and to allow for some quick and easy batch cards as it's something scary like 5 weeks until Christmas. I never learn lol, hugs x

Yvonne, if it's not a sudden blanket ban on all thought, speech or action it's one of my strange hyperactive thought threads where I flit from one thing to another over the course of several hours. It's like faffing in the craft room but in my brain. If there's more than one brain cell there I'd be quite amazed as I did my best trying to destroy them during the 90's (cue rose tinted glasses and hazy memories of... no, this is a family blog!). Brain freeze usually down to opiates, migraine or both with the after affects of my party years maybe a little to blame too!!! To be honest if I had more brain cells I'd be more hyperactive which would mean instead of very little getting done , nothing would be done LMAO, hugs x

Mr W now dishing up, hugs to everyone, plenty extra if they're needed. I hope new or occasional visitors continue to visit now the launch is over,

    T x

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. How am I ever going to choose from these beautiful dies to add to my every growing collection? My wish list was already quite long... There's an interesting little label on the new dies and I've tried to see what it's about. Is it a link to an online demo perhaps? More inspiration and techniques for us perhaps? Thank you Sue for developing such beautiful tools to help us make stunning cards. Thank you for your generosity by offering this giveaway. Best wishes, Anne O (Epsom). x

  189. Good evening fantabulous Sue and her dedicated crew!

Oh, woe is me! How on earth will I learn to cope without my regular dose of Sue, I have become accustomed to three posts now and will go into severe withdrawal no doubt when everything returns to normal again:-( my only hope is to purchase as many of these fantastic new dies as my purse strings will allow...a challenge in itself since my mum has an armed guard and trip wire around the credit card-I made the mistake of telling her about the launch you see.
I've said this before, you can never have too many floral dies and you can always be relied upon to provide us with yet more little beauties. I always find myself purchasing them, I'm somewhat of a collector I guess. I am so excited to see your cards and demos for the new range and really wish we could see you on our screens again showcasing them as only you can. However, you have worked tirelessly on our behalf and fully deserve a lengthy break with your mum and family. Thankyou for bringing a little sunshine into my life on a daily basis, you have created a wonderful blog with so many beautiful people....minus the obvious trouble makers, you know who you are:-)...and I am happy to admit that you are my first and last port of call each day.
Maria, you won't believe it...Darcey has officially christened the new chairs!:-) I have just left her sitting rather tentatively it has to be said, on one of them- I didn't want to make a big deal of it outwardly in case it freaked her out but I was doing the happy dance internally let me tell you, we have turned a corner! Brodie is doing his upmost to disturb her though, he's in the mood to cause bother and is prowling around the house menacingly-he's stir crazy because of the appalling weather:-(
You're right Yvonne, Brodie is consistently on the naughty step so I don't think Santa will be paying him a visit anytime soon. I don't think Santa is averse to pj wearing considering he visits at an ungodly hour, in fact , every year he encourages me to wear them by bringing me more pairs than I can handle! However, since meeting you I have slipped in his estimations and I don't expect a visit this year:-(
I am hoping that my previously unblemished record will stand me in good stead but the signs are grim.
Wheely Bad, like you I have often wondered if my questionable lifestyle during the nineties has led to the irretrievable breakdown of any brain matter that was in existence previously...they were heady days of wine, men and parties in stark contrast to my sedate lifestyle of recent times. I tend to be quite hyperactive as well, though the body doesn't always play ball- my mum says I'd be dangerous if I had more stamina:-)
Molly, melody, so glad to hear that Francis is back home, I wish him all the best in his quest for fitnessxx
Tracy, glad your first session went smoothly- how often do you have the treatment, and do you have far to travel? Hope the process doesn't tire you out too muchxxxx
Going to tempt myself further and watch Julia's show, wishing you all a lovely eveningxxx
