Christmas Joy Wreath

Hello my crafty friends!  The last one for today is the Joy Wreath die set.  This is unique in that you have the letters separate and the wreath has been done in two pieces so you can have a solid wreath and an outline wreath to use.  The letters can be used horizontally, vertically or even diagonally, your choice for your projects, making it very versatile.  If you would like to win this one, you know the drill, leave a comment.  Please only one comment per die, but feel free to comment on all of the different dies to be entered into as many drawings as possible.  The fun will begin at 6am tomorrow morning for the final day of the launch.  Hope to see you there!  All for now, Sue x

  6. This die is so useful, as you have many ways of using it. I love it.
Its a pity designers or companies dont do the same with smallish Merry Christmas or the like, so you can use vertically and horizontally.

  14. Hi Sue, a lovely card that reminds me for some reason of the German flag :-) and the tiny pine cones are so sweet. Although 'joy' is not one of my preferred sentiments I love the multi-functional wreath 'O'.

  20. Hi Sue

So many possibilities, a really clever idea separate letters and frame. The little holly wreath is a lovely idea. Makes it a little less formal than other "joy" dies IMO

Lorraine and Yvonne, you two are making me want to bake! May have to pick up some chocolate chunks Monday and make mine and Mr W's favourite "3 chocolate cake" If I tell him he can take some fishing with him Thursday I'm sure he'll be up for helping me make it before then!

    Hugs to all,

  32. Afternoon Sue
Oh my word. I am almost speechless - you know me I could never be completely speechless - that would be a miracle. This is so unfair. Now I think this one is my favourite. You are making me so terribly indecisive and this is a feeling that I am not familiar with. I absolutely love this die. When I saw it in the packaging I liked it but the true beauty can only be seen when you work your magic.
I often find myself wondering if you ever sleep. Thank you again (and again and again and again), for sharing your fantabulous inspiration with us mere mortals
    x

I am enjoying a window of peace and quiet. The boys have gone to Ikea to kit out 'the shed'. I am a little concerned. When I go to Ikea - which is not that often I only ever go for tea lights but always come home with a bag full of goodies that I don't need or have any use for. The boys have gone to look at rugs, curtains - yes I know - for a shed if you please, and sofa beds. My concern stems from the fact that they have gone in Jake's empty work van - heaven help us. You can get quite a lot in a bag from Ikea as I have proved - just how much can you fit into a van? Lord have mercy x
Have had a chance to catch up on today's comments whilst they've been gone

Wheely Bad - you can tell I'm a lot better by the length of my comments. Hope the bed rest is doing what it's supposed to and you are starting to feel brighter. I'm glad you are able to smile - at my expense. Lol. Big hug my friend x

Julie - have a fantastic time in Vegas - if you do manage to win you could use your winnings to fund your Sue want list x

Marg - I do hope your new Denby Teapot will give you as many years loyal service as Brown Betty x

Pauline A - hope you are having a lovely day at the wedding x

Littlelamb - hope your granddaughters party is going/went well x

Maria - my boys were more than lucky - I have been known to seriously injure anyone who gets within 5 feet of my Eton Mess! lol x

Diane - your support is greatly appreciated - I will attempt a different record next time. I will endure many hours of misery to achieve victory. I will keep you posted x

Lorraine - don't you blame me for your feeling unwell. Accept responsibility my dear for your own gluttony! If you are not man enough to eat cheesecake for breakfast without feeling queasy then that is your problem! Lol. Hope you're feeling better x

Theresa - I am open to bribery in the form of food so you're in girl. Jake has built the shed from scratch. Had terrible trouble with him age 14 - 16 at school - so much so that his behaviour and attitude resulted in him being permanently excluded - don't you just love em!! Really turned himself round and is now a fully qualified air conditioning and refrigeration engineer. He is an absolute star when it comes to building or fixing things. He's my little soldier even if he is 23. I decided to commandeer the dining room some years ago for my crafting. I am happy to let the boys use the 'shed' as an x box haven as it means I am left in peace - that can't be bad can it? Anyway I am far to posh to craft in a shed darling x

All for now people. Have a lovely Saturday evening

  126. Good evening everyone!

What a beautiful sentiment to finish the day with-joy is what I feel when I look at your blog each day Sue, joy because I love your cards and witnessing your talents and joy because of the bonds that I have been fortunate enough form with you and your lovely Wilsonettes.
Each day brings another smile to my face and I look forward to seeing your designs and hearing from all of your dedicated lovelies.
Thankyou for sharing your talents and time for our benefit, you are a genuine inspiration.
I don't even need to say how much I love your joy concept, almost as much as my bank manager and mum dreads it I guess :-)
The possibilities are endless and shows us that a die needn't just be for Christmas!
I'm having a quiet evening, resting up for tomorrow when my niece will be visiting. She has the choice of going to the Stirling Highland Games or The Caledonian Cheesecake Company and The Milk Barn Farm Shop for homemade ice cream-I won't put any undue pressure on her for a decision but I am sure that as an eight yr old she will listen to her aunties advice.....:-)
I don't mind admitting that I am a little jealous that you have such a capable man about the house Yvonne, you must be so proud of his achievements and how he has knuckled down-he sounds like he deserves a man cave after all the effort he has put in, and I'm with you, you most definitely appear too posh to craft in a shed! Me too, I need my home comforts and if I put a 42inch plasma on my craft wall I wouldn't have any space for my framed Sue Wilson masterpiece. Who needs x boxes when you can have so much fun playing Twister, Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit? In my day it took at least half an hour to load a computer game by which time I'd lost interest, though I did like Space invaders and Lemmings or Hunchback.
Anyway, I'm showing my age now, time to go and watch repeats of Dallas on Sky,,,,da,da da, da, da,da,da,da,da,da,da,da,da,de,daaaa!

    Love and crafty hugs,

  152. Good evening Sue and the night owls,
This is a great idea Sue and maybe a ongoing thought process for other dies in your crafty thought process. Although this card is a bit more stylised than what I do I think it could be great for those pesky men in our lives that don't like frills, bows and bling be it diamond and sparkly or more subdued in elegant pearls. Now you know how side tracked by brain goes when something sparks my imagination into overdrive.....well what about Snow with the 'o' as a snowflake. Let the brain go into action and I'm sure it can generate more such examples that could be for during the year as well.
Have a great last day tomorrow flower and thank you for really opening our eyes upto a treasure chest of more beauty
    With love and crafty hugs
    Norah (Glenochil )

I think innovation must be your middle name. This last die set today is just so clever and like Myra I saw the German flag in the colours you used. Seeing as my OH is german it has given me some inspiration for my cards to give to his side. They will be very impressed, thank you so much.

  178. Hi Sue

Don't include this comment in the draw as I have already commented on the die itself.

Just about to go to sleep when I saw on the TV about the severe wildfires affecting a great proportion of California. Just wanted to say I hope you, your family and any Wilsonettes are safe and ok. At the same time thinking of the poor people affected. Hopefully the state fire services can get things contained asap.
