Hello crafters! What a day it has been. I hope you are all enjoying the posts for the day, but don't forget that there are several more days to follow! This blg post is featuring the Snowflakes. A set of six snowflakes of varying sizes that look fabulous layered up as seen here, or will hold their own equally as well as single snowflakes. You will see them used quite often on many of the upcoming cards in the days to follow as they have been a real staple for building backgrounds as well as focal elements. This set is up for grabs, if you leave me a comment, you will be entered in the drawing to win it. Fab!! Love this, love these snowflakes - and the swirly background again and WOT no sentiment?!! Is this a first? Often make cards with no sentiments on the front as all the space has been filed up with the artistry of the dies lol.

ReplyDeleteAt last! Snowflake dies I really like! I've looked for years for a big set, and have had to use stamps instead as I like snowflake backgrounds. Layering will look amazing in real life I'm sure. I can't remember whose comment it was but I love the idea of making 3D decorations from it.
It's been a lovely evening looking at all the dies, thank you Sue. I shall look forward to tomorrow evening when I shall get home, put my feet up with a coffee and take in the next set. In the meantime I fancy a spot of online shopping!

I know everyone will have absolutely loved seeing all the new dies today and just touching the surface of what can be done with them.
I bet I am not the only one who is like a child waiting for Christmas morning to arrive to see what Santa Sue has got for us! Felt like that last night and thought that at my age I would have calmed down by tonight. After seeing all the cards today I am even more excited.

I have really enjoyed the day, particularly with its snowflake theme, it has catered to my tastes beautifully.
What a great idea, creating a 3D flake, I love the effect. These would make a welcome addition to my stash, I love their versatility as a background die as well.
I'm off to chill now and catchup with the soaps in preparation for an early start to tomorrow s proceedings, cannot wait. Well done Sue and good luck to every Wilsonette who have entered the draws by showing their appreciation of your talent and hard work.

ReplyDeleteSuch intricate snowflakes Sue, layered up they look so pretty but look equally beautiful as stand alone dies, as you say they will make perfect backgrounds , a couple of them could be used as stars on o non festive card!
