Deboss Snowflake Die

Hi there my crafty friends!  One of my favourite dies from this release is the Deboss Snowflake.  I just simply adore using this die to create beautiful letterpressed cards such as this one.  Not your usual Christmas colours, but none the less festive in the soft dusty rose colour combo (which matches our new Mica Flakes seen here!).  There are separate cutting edges so it is so easy to create a lovely frame for your cards, as well as a decorative inside die which can be used to add extra detail to your creations.  Leave me a comment and I will add your name to the drawing to win this stunner.  I hope to see you back here at 6pm for the last post for today.  It is definitely worth the wait in my opinion.  All for now, Sue x

  97. Oh my Sue what a beautiful collection, and more to follow. Remember when I said I have so many of the previous dies I need to get before even thinking of collecting your Summer collection ? I still need to catch up with the French, Spanish, Italian and so on dies, well now what do I do ? Should I do what Mr Lancashire is predicting, or sit on my hands and leave my debit card where its safe ? Hmmm not sure yet ! All I can say is, that this year's festive dies have appealed to me more than last year's as you have taken them to another level what with the backgrounds and striplet dies, just perfect, and who care's what colour's anyone uses, it doesn't seem to matter in this day and age !
    Looking forward to 6pm.

  161. Hi Sue

You've blown my list out of the water as well as illustrate the point that until you see a die used you never 100% know how it fits in to the types of cards you make. When dies are listed on websites it's so hard to tell, the 'name' of the die isn't always visible until you click on it and even then, you can't quite get a real sense of what the die cut looks like. I saw this and thought, I like it, I like to letterpress but couldn't picture it. Now I see it, it is exactly what I like and the sort of look I like for my cards. I like the idea of a separate frame as I could go direct to card and as a stamper I like to have shapes for my stamps... I think you may have that covered to though! Your card is so pretty and the flakes- are they pink or a rose gold colour? A phone screen is never the best way to tell! Either way, they sound fabulous. I like getting away from a saturation of red and green at Christmas so the card is a big hit for me.

    Hugs,

    T x

  186. Hi Sue. I wasn't sure what was special about this die when I saw the packaging but now I've seen what you've done with it I can see the intricate detail - the list I had in my head of "must haves" is now having to be re-thought. Sue C, XXX
