lovely card and your usual clever use of dies. You make it look so easy on the video, love the use of rectangles to make a square, such a different look and more versatility for the dies. I don't have any of the Caribbean collection but am rethinking that,

    Morning Sue
A really beautiful gift which would brighten anyone's day wherever they are.
It's also an excellent starting point for either dressing up or down; using different colours for different genders. I love your soft colour palette today. Aqua always hits the spot for me. All in all one wonderful gift.

Well we have blue skies, sunshine and very little wind at the moment and I have everything crossed that I can that it will be warmer today than yesterday!!
I have one hectic day ahead of me in that I'm trying to get things sorted for going to my Summer retreat next week; it's Knit and Natter this afternoon and it's my turn for the demo so I need 10 complete sets of the card for my crafting buddies to do and to finish the day off visit my GP at 18.00hrs and after all that I shall be well and truly zonked. I just need my crafting friends to co-operate this afternoon.

To all in pain and suffering today I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

  69. Gold morning a Sue &.friends,
I must apologise for my absence this past few days, I have been really poorly, I spent last night at the Emergengy Assesment Unit and today I am waiting for a CT scan, they are not sure whether I have a severe sinus problem, bells palsy (bought on by huge amount of stress recently) or Trigeminal Neuralgia, I have everything crossed it's not the last one although it is the one they think it's most likely to be, they think it's caused by blood vessels in your head pressing on the nerve that crosses your face! I don't think I am ready to take on another long term pain problem, I have already got my fair share!
I am saving your video to watch during my long wait Sue, your card is as always stunning. Xx
Thank you to my cafe ladies, for keeping it going in my absence and for your continued love and support.

  135. Hi Sue

Totally stunning. Hopefully I will be able to see the video if I don't go to sleep straight after letting Billy out for his bedtime comfort visit to the garden.

Sandra I'm so sorry you've been so poorly x Julie Laz happy belated birthday.

I pushed myself to make my brother a simple birthday card, it took two days as I did it an hour a day but I did it (thank goodness for my trusty noble dies!) We got to see him Sunday, he had a barbecue in my Dads garden, it was lovely to see my mum, her partner, my Dad (one of them!) Dan and his girlfriend. I gave Dan a bit extra for his birthday to say thank you for taking me to the hospital. Billy had a marvellous time trotting round with the other dogs, getting lots of cuddles from his favourite people and they all got spoilt as I took some doggy treats with me. It was really nice to be out but it was all several steps too far for my body. Been very sore & quite exhausted since hence me not visiting. I have missed you all and hope I'll be back tomorrow.

Hugs to you all, wherever you are in the world, extra hugs if they're needed :-)

  136. Hi Sue. Ooooh WOW !! This is gorgeous !! Another beautiful card from your Caribbean Collection !! Thank you so much Sue !! Just perfect. Thanks for a great video to. I love the colours you have used. Great use of the dies to create a beautiful focal element. Fab idea to cut down two of the St Bart's dies and offset them to. I love the new shape that was created by them. I also love you finishing touch of the cute little heart dies in the corners. Really pretty and delicate. Another BIG THANKYOU for your fab video and gorgeous card today. Lots of love and hugs to you Sue from Tres x x x

  150. It's late and I'm trying to catch up with the blog I have missed over the weekend. So, I have just watched the video silently, well silent video with an odd Oh, and Ah, from yours truly. Great video, as always. These new dies are stunning. The corners are another must have together with the gorgeous oval. Are mum's entitled to a wee treat on Father's Day? Wonder if he'd like a set of dies?

  156. Gorgeous card, such delicate colours. Will watch the video tomorrow. Really pleased that my Let it snow die has arrived. My husband thinks I'm nuts getting it now when, apart from having a play with it, I won't be using it until December. He doesn't understand that it's crafting gold dust. Men!!
    Take care everyone.

  163. Hi Sue...thank you for sharing yet another gorgeous card and fantastic video...the cutting dies are stunning as always but I never would have thought to slightly offset 2 of the same pieces as you did with the St Bart's cutting die, I think when we are learning card making we kind of have a comfort zone that we are a little apprehensive of steering from but you are showing us how to break away from that zone and try different methods of the same cutting die...so thank you for yet another fantastic tip. Appreciate your talents daily Sue, hugs and smiles to you and your family and to all Wilsonettes...take care Love Beth B x x x
