    Morning Sue
Your Buckle Gifts are always amazing Sue and this one is no exception. The only thing I would change is the gold on the backing. I would prefer not to have that your EBoss folder is gorgeous on its own but that's just my preference.
I love the new pearl corners and must have a session of tracking them down.

P in Wales - I have turned to using the E-bosser this year and would definitely not be without it. I had to change as I just couldn't turn the handle on the GC anymore due to 'misbehaved' body parts lol. The only thing I found awkward was finding the correct sandwich for Eboss folders as some are thicker than others etc. But it was in the price range I could afford and it's a good size for fitting on my craft table. So I would give it a big tick. Hope this helps.
Saba - so pleased to hear that your Sister is home. There's no place better to recuperate.
Norah - I would love to see the two shawls you have knitted. Are they on the lines of the ones that can go through a wedding ring or did you knit them in a thicker wool?

Well I'm up to date with March bday cards and so now can have a play with doing 'Izzy' bags. First though today my hair dresser is coming this morning so it will be crafting later.

To all in pain or suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

  55. Hello Sandra and other "Bag Ladies"...

Hope you're having fun making up the bags, they're all rather gorgeous and thanks to Saba for re-interpreting my written instructions into a more visual form - I've finally worked out how to access other blogs from here although still unable to leave comments...drat!...and yes, it is possible to use a whole range of other dies to make the bag fronts, I've got a few Spellbinders dies that I'll be trying myself too but obviously the originals were made to showcase Sue's wonderful Geminis...

  58. Hi Sue, what a great card , love the buckles and the corners are lush. Lol lynne m x x x

PHASE 2 - is now over, yeah hey!!!! Groomer arrived and poochies took to the hills ( well garden really). Got set up ready whilst I sat on the settee chatting. Poochies crept into the lounge and made straight for me. Tilly ran round the side of the settee to hide while Cully jumped up onto the settee pushed herself behind me stood on her back legs with her back against the settee and used her front paws to push at my back. I moved forward at which point Cully quickly pushed herself down and buried her head in the corner of the settee. Whatever would give you the impression my two are little wusses. Cully had her haircut first and when done pranced around the lounge. Tilly when her turn tried constantly to sit down. At long last both done and they look beautiful if I do say myself. How as precious princesses they don't enjoy being groomed I just don't get. Oh well, got 8 weeks before the process begins all over again. I have decided that next time to save getting wet I'm going to invest in a big yellow coat and hat that fishermen use on trawlers.

Lol and hugs to all lynne & precious princesses x x x

  85. I Good Morning Sue & friends,
IZZY, thanks for your kind words, is it possible for you to contact me at all? You could pop over to my blog and I could give you my email or maybe go through Sue, as she has my email too, I have a couple of things I would very much appreciate your help with. Sue, sorry about requesting this on your blog. Xxx
Sue I love today's card, the colour is gorgeous, I love green! I love that New York Die too, I haven't attempted the 'Buckle technique' yet but this card has got me buzzing to give it a go.
Can I also mention your new stick pins, Sue they are just so beautiful, I have recently started having a go at making jewellery and I have therefore purchased quite a few genuine gemstones, when I received your collection I was literally amazed by the quality of the beads, those teardrop beads are like pure crystal, I compared them to some of the gemstones that I have and my goodness it's hard to tell them apart, the light plays through them is mesmerising! The pearl effect beads are the sane amazing standard Sue, it may have taken you a long term to reach the quality and style you wanted Sue but boy they are worth the wait.
I would not hesitate to use these to make jewellery either, my goodness they sparkle like diamonds!
Sorry to have gone on about them so much but I just wanted to make sure that anyone unsure about the quality could be reassured .
Right I am off to try a buckle card, wish me luck!
Lynne, your Phase 2 sounded as fun and exhausting as phase 1, I would love to see some photos of the before and after, we have been sharing photos over at the crazy 'cafe' , we have had some right giggles too! Maybe stop by and take a peak some time ! Hugs to you and your freshly Coiffured pooches, xxx
Sheila, hugs to you and Nikki xxxxx
Saba, great news about Val xxxx
Norah, I hope your iron is on it's way up and you are feeling stronger, I too would live to see those shawls! X
Pat, you sounded so much brighter yesterday, hopefully that 'groggy' feeling has give now, allowing you to feel brighter in yourself xxxx
Steph, hope you are almost done & ready to go home, I have missed your daily cheerfulness! Xxx
    Love & hugs to all

  119. Good evening Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,
In another colour Sue this will be a beautiful card for me but sorry green just doesn't do it some how. Love the new pretty corners that CE have brought out, they are pretty. I always think your buckle cards are a feat of magic whether really complicated like some in the past or not so as this is today, they are a definite wonder of engineering card making. And they are always guaranteed to work perfectly for the more difficult members of our species. Thank you Sue for bringing inspiration to our lives each day, you really make this place a better world to be in with your kindness, generosity and just being you.
Sheila and Nikki, you are in my heart and thoughts and i am sending you hugs.
Michele, i am also sending you hugs flower for you and your friends. Words cannot express the heart break that they and you are going through. I hope your young friend is comfortable at least with his medication that he is now on.
Janet, i a fine shawl person (2ply) as it is not too thick for babies but can still keep them warm and they are nothing spectacular flower they are the Patons Shell and Fan pattern in the round. When i build up enough courage as it is no where to be seen the now, i will take a picture and send it to Sandra. I knitted one for my old school friend youngest daughter when she had the wee lad and another one that went to school with us knitted the double knitting one the same. The wee guy doesn't like it, it doesn't feel the same to him so it's used when they are out and about in the cold with the pram and he is in mine the rest of the time. Someone last year wanted a DK one done in this sparkly yarn but after a few rows i let the lassie see it as i wouldn't put it near a wee one in a million years. Give the lassie her due when she felt it she seen just what i meant so asked me to knit a pink dk normal yarn shawl for her. I did give her written instructions not to wrap the wee one up in it as it would be far too hot and it could cause problems.

  120. Lynne, how long did the beautiful new hairdo's last before they were back to scruffy looking tikes i wonder as mum would brush her dogs which ever one she had at that time so that they were immaculate each day, the brush wouldn't be down when they would shake themselves and look just as bad as ever. It started with Smarty Pants(really called Marty but never ever got it) who was a poodle(a bad tempered little so and so) and then Sally was a black lab, then came Scruffy, a breaded collie who was perfectly named, Poppy (the Yoyo) was a Heinz 57 but her fur just lay down. Then she got Hamish, A Lapso Apso who was another scruffy bag and then her last was Millie who went up to Nairn to live, she was a Bechon Friese, another mucky wee tike who didn't like being a princess so you see Lynne dearest i know they don't keep that pristine look long enough for their daddy to come in. But you got 7 weeks of worry free before you need to start getting wound up again with the performance. We have a big van that comes around called "Scrub-a-dug" which i think is quite apt in the circumstances.
Saba, so glad that Val is improving and it will soon be time for you to come back "home". Sending hugs her way in the hope that she continues to improve and is climbing that ladder back to health once more.
Well last night i had to take my boy to his induction night for the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers(the same as Police Youth Cadets down south). Rory got one of the 24 places that was available for the start up in Central Region. I asked him after they finished watching this video about the Police and what the different roles they played and what and why this was started and the kids faces were all lit up. Even the Chief Superintendent came along to speak to the kids and their parents or in Rory's case, me. I feel that sorry for him because Campbell never comes out to support him like he does for Kirsten and it really gets me. Anyway, they will be meeting up every other week the now for 12 weeks and then having a Passing Out Parade at the end of it. They will be volunteers for all sorts of things that go on in the community that youngsters will be at so that the Police and public are not so wide of the divide. To bring children into the way of thinking that there is an alternative and that they too could be just like these 24 kids that are the start. I have said to Rory that i will drop him off where all the rest get dropped off so that he is the same as the rest and feels the same as them. All in all a brilliant night was had by everyone concerned.
Well i will go and leave you all with hugs of every shape and size just waiting to be given to anyone that could do with one for whatever reason,
    Love and crafty hugs

  139. Hi, Sue and Wilsonettes will catch up with video tomorrow, as I've had a long day and been out for most of it, taking my mam to a funeral.

I think my mam would like this green card, as it's her favourite colour. Buckle cards aren't really my thing, although it's very nice.

Hugs and Best Wishes to everyone,

  147. Well that is a stunning card if ever I saw one, you have outdone yourself with this one Sue. I know just the person to do this type of card for. Thank you for sharing.
Maureen, my dear heart, don't panic, I'm still here. Yesterday I had another of my complimentary treatments courtesy Macmillan Nurses at the Beacon Centre. It meant leaving home earlier than usual time as I was knew there was a lot of roadworks along the A38 all the way to Taunton. I walked out of there as though I was floating after my reflexology treatment on my feet. Such utter heaven. Can't stand my feet being tickled but pedicures, massages and reflexology always do
the trick for me. Had a good brunch with Jamie and we both got straight back into the decorating. Only one section around the door giving us a bit of gyp, that can be sorted out later. New desk ordered for my computer system and then the room is finished!!! Yay!!! All will be revealed soon.
I totally forgot to pop in yesterday to leave a comment. I'll meet up with you in the Cafe later.
Love & hugs to all blog friends under the weather today.
