Hello my crafty friends! Here's a lovely card for that special occasion! Almost white on white, but with just a hint of gold, giving it a lovely soft opulence. I hope you can take a few minutes to watch.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Sue and right at the middle of my comfort zone. Your white cards are always a vision to behold and although i can't see all the detail that i know you put on it in the video, i can see it on the photographs that you put up... stunning. The gilding wax i must get hold off as the soft pearl gold just highlights beautifully and just for a change i have near enough everything to make it except the gilding wax.
Well the Costa de Glenochil has been wet for the last 8 days at least, so please everyone who needs to go out in it, watch out for the other twits on the road as it is them that makes life so treacherous on the road.

Something not quite right when we have to learn about programmes purely from your blog, Sue. Why don't they list the names of the Crafting Guest along with the name of the Presenter? Seems simple to me - then we wouldn't miss our favourites!

Your card today Sue is another stunner and I agree with everyone else about it making beautiful wedding card. I love using gilding wax ,particularly the softer tones as they are easier to master - or they were for me!

ReplyDeleteLove today's white on white card today. This is one I shall definitely try. I haven't watched the video yet but will do so later. Both you and Julia posted regarding Nikki's shows. I went to record the 4.00 as I thought I had missed the 10.00. But, seeing as they were both stated as creative Expressions I had already set both of them to record. When your back I must email and ask you to do an embossing video using a mask which had been stamped up using a versamark and then run it through the Grand Caliber. You showed a card using the snowflake mask over Christmas as one that hadn't been shown before. But I don't seem to do this correctly as mine smudge a bit after adding the embossing powder. Hope you got the gist of this as I tend to ramble when I'm not to sure of exactly what I'm trying to say.
