Ooh La La!

Hi bloggers!  Ooh la la is right!  I started this one by stamping the Fragrant Garden Background on milk card with a black archival ink pad.  I used a bit of Antique Linen and Tattered rose distress ink to put some colour in it.  I distressed the edges of it using my scissors for a shabby chic look and matted it on burgundy card.  Next I cut the corner from the Botanical Swirls and Accents in black and glued it to the lower right hand corner.  I stamped the tag from the French Frills set and cut it out with the matching die and mounted it across the corner.  I cut the dressform from the same set in black card and stamped the dress portion of it and cut it out also.  I inked it with Tattered rose and rubbed some rock candy stickles over it for texture. I added three small pearls as a necklace accent to it.  In the lower corner,  I made a floral grouping of flower buds using Blossoms Five.  You can click on the tutorial of these at the top of the blog to see the full description.  I tied a messy bow out of rose seam binding and spritzed it with water and scrunched it.  I added the rose buds on top and finished it with two black stick pins and a couple of leaf sprays.  I pierced the edges of the black mat to finish the entire card.  I hope you think ooh la la too!  Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
