Congratulations

Hello bloggers!  I thought I would share another sample from the latest release.  I started with a piece of white card and used Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over it.  Once dry, I embossed it with the Moroccan Tile embossing folder.  After I embossed it, I used Black Soot around the edges to add a bit of a frame look to it.  I cut the Gerbera Stained Glass Circle out of black card.  I backed it with another piece of Pixie Sparkled card, but this one had a bit of Zesty Lime added to the Beyond Blue.  I used some Cosmic Lacquer on the flowers and leaves for a bit of shine.   I cut the Congratulations sentiment in black and added it below the flowers.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7" in size.   All for now, Sue x

Decorative Squared Octagons

Hello bloggers!  Last but not least is the Decorative Squared Octagons!  I know the name is a mouthful, but this set is absolutely beautiful.  One thing that I do need to mention is that these do not cut out of the paper, only into the paper.  They have been designed to work with the Double Stitched Octagons so if you already own that set, these can be used to make decorative frames.  Shown here, you can see the lovely pattern that they make which can be used to go around your focal element.  If this set is singing your name, don't forget to leave a comment on this post.  Just to remind you, I will be doing the drawings on Oct 26th and posting the list of winning names in the afternoon.  Please don't forget to come back by the blog on the 26th to see if your name is among the winners!  All for now, Sue x

Butterfly Shaped Card

Hi there my crafty friends!  The last of the shaped card dies is the Butterfly Shaped Card.  While it looks really cute as a shaped card, I just love the simplicity of this card design.  There is no denying that it is a big, bold design but so cute too!  If this set is something that you would like to own in your crafty stash, just leave a comment on this post, you just never know who will win, it could be you!  Unfortunately that is the end of day number three which means that we only have a couple of posts left to share with you tomorrow.  I will be back here at 6am tomorrow morning to start the day off.  I really hope you can join me then (the first card tomorrow is one of my favs from this release too!)  All for now, Sue x

All Things Grow With Love

Hello crafters!  This post is dedicated to the first of two mini expressions.  Introducing the All Things Grow With Love mini expression.  Shown here, you can see how beautifully it goes with the watering can and flower bouquet die sets.  It was designed to fit on the watering can itself, for use with the shaped card, but you can use it equally as well on a flat card too.  This mini expression has been designed with mixed fonts for a more modern look, but it is still very readable too.  It may be a small die, but someone is going to win it so why not add your name to the comments below this post.  It might just find it's way to your craft room!  There is still one final post for today and that will be online ere at 6 pm today.  All for now, Sue x

Dots 'n Stripes Paper Pad

Hello crafters!  This post is to introduce my latest paper pad; Dots 'n' Stripes.  Shown here, you can see how cute it looks done up with the Watering Can and Flower Bouquet die sets.  I will be quite honest and tell you that I just received this paper pad right before I left on my holiday so I only had a short time to use it, but I have so many more ideas for it!  I have only used the dotty paper for this card, but there are coordinating lined papers too.  Each piece, whether it be dots or stipes has the coordinating solid colour on the back too, so everything will match beautifully.  In all there are 32 double sided pages with 2 each of 16 designs.  There are 8 different pastel colours in each pad as well.  This paper pad is great for paper piecing too if you like doing that as much as I do, this is definitely for you!  We are giving away one of the paper pads so don't forget to leave your comment on this post if you would like a chance to win it!  I shall return at 3pm today.  All for now, Sue x

Flower Bouquet

Hello bloggers!  Next up is the Floral Bouquet die set.  I designed this set as a work along with the Watering Can Shaped card die set.  While there are a massive twenty dies in this set, they can be used inside the watering can or as shown here, like a garden all on their own!  There is an assortment of flowers in different shapes and sizes, several different leaves, a butterfly and tow curved stems with a circle at the top.  This last piece is used to create whatever flower you want and add it to the circle at the top of the stem (makes it easier for gluing!).  Just pop a comment on this post and meet us back here at 12pm for the surprise non die giveaway.  All for now. Sue x

Watering Can Shaped Card

Hello crafters and welcome back!  the third of the shaped card designs is the Watering Can Shaped Card die set.  Shown here, I have done this one as a shaped card (although the pic does make it look like it has been added to a flat card, it hasn't).  While it looks super cute as a flat card (and I will show several done that way in the weeks to come), it is adorable as a shaped card too!  I may be going out on a limb here, but I think you will want to add your name to the comment section of this post.  I know you are going to want to win this treasure!  Don't forget to make your name memorable in some way in your comment.  I only have a single set of dies to giveaway.  That is the end of day number two for the die release blog launch, but I will be back here tomorrow morning at 6am on the blog with more to share with you!  I hope you will join us back here then!  All for now, Sue x

House Front Accessories

Hello bloggers!  While the shaped cards are lovely, I felt that they needed some accessories to go with them and help bring them to life.  Introducing the House Front Accessories die set.  This set has fifteen dies included in it such as the curtains, shutters, dog, cat, topiaries, chimney, flower pots and window box flowers, a wreath and garland.  All of these items add detail and interest to the shaped house and cottage die sets.  You know the drill by now, just leave a comment on this post and you will automatically be included in the drawing to win this set.  We have one final post today and it will be on the blog at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x

Cottage Shaped Card

Hi there my crafty friends!  This post is for showcasing the Cottage Shaped Card.  Shown here, it has actually been done as an easel card, with the pic showing just the front of the card.  I stencilled a brick pattern onto the front to add a bit of detail to it, but there is so much more you can do with these sets to bring them to life!  Just imagine all the fun you can have with these!  Go ahead and add your name to the comments, you might just be lucky enough to win it!  I would also like to remind you that the Pinterest Pinit button has been added to the bottom of all the posts so feel free to use it to save any samples or dies you might like for later inspiration.  The next post will be on the blog at 3pm today.  I hope you will be able to please stop back by for a quick look,  I think you will like it!   All for now,  Sue x

House Front Shaped card

Hello crafters!  Welcome to the start of day number two of the October die release blog launch.  We are switching gears now and showcasing the first of four new shaped card designs.  Up first is the House Front Shaped Card die set.  While I have done all of these as stand alone shaped cards, my pictures were not very good so I have decided to share with you the set made as a card for this one.  This set has been designed so it is easy to add a roof of a different colour if desired and the door opens as well.  Each of the shaped card sets has an outer die that has been designed to be used with a folded piece of card so it cuts the shape leaving the fold area intact.  Don't forget to leave your comment on this post to be included in the drawing to win it!  I will return at noon with the second post of the day.  All for now, Sue x

Chrysanthemum Stained Glass Circle

Hi crafters!  Last but not least is the Chrysanthemum Stained Glass Circle.  Lovely and simple in design, but you can see how easy it will be to make an eye catching card with very little effort!  Shown here, a background of pixie powdered card is all it needs to pop off the page!  If this one is shouting to you to bring it home and add to your crafty stash, then why not try to win it in the drawing just by leaving a comment on this post.   It is very easy to do and if you have never done so, then just take a peek at the instructions on the right hand side of the blog.  Well that is it for day one, but don't worry, there is more to come starting here at 6am tomorrow morning!  Hope to see you then!  All for now.
