Tis The Season

Hello crafters!  When is a border, not a border? When you use it to make Christmas ornaments!  I started with a piece of gloss black card that I splattered with a white paint pen.  Next I cut two of the Holly Lattice Border die in white with a second piece of white card under it when cutting.  I used the second piece of white card (that was just embossed in the cutting) to colour the borders.  I used a gold paint pen for the lattice part and green and red paint pens for the holly.  I glued the white die cut on top of both of the borders, then carefully cut the sections apart, giving me six sections.  I glued them together with the lattice sections facing each other so they ended up looking like a bauble.  I used the Heirloom Flourish cut in white several times and added them across the top of the card.  I hung the baubles from it using the chain die from the Bauble Branches die set.  I cut the Tis The Season sentiment in antique gold and glued it to the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
