Winter Greetings
Hello crafters! I used the Blustery Frame and cut it into a piece of white card. I selected several shades of blue card. I cut into each colour the same die but I rotated it slightly in the card. I stacked all the colours from lightest to darkest and taped them together. I added mounting foam to the back of the piece. I attached a piece of sticky adhesive sheet to a piece of white card. I lightly marked the area that will show through the cut out area, then I added snowflakes cut from Arctic Blue card using the Snowflake Panel die. I attached them as close as possible to each other, then filled in the remaining sticky sheet with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I attached the front piece over it and added a few more snowflakes in the lower corner. I cut the Winter Greetings sentiment in navy blue and glued it the upper left corner. The card was completed with white and navy blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Wow, I think this is such a stunning card. I love the blustery frame die anyway, but I wouldn't have thought of layering them up in this way and I love the result.

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card with all the layers of different shades of blue of the blustery frame. I started my Christmas card making yesterday and made a card with the blustery frame die and one with the radiating background die that was in the same release, then I discovered I was nearly out of coconut white card. Now I have to wait on the postman before I can make any more
Love and hugs to everyone
Pat
