Hello crafters! For today's card, I cut the Radiating Background twice, once out of antique gold card and once out of red card. I cut the antique gold die cut into four pieces from centre to centre, leaving the corners intact. I arranged the pieces behind the red die cut taping them in place so they showed nicely. Next I cut a small multi-layered frame using the Round Corner Squares with a wide white base and thin frames of gold and red. I added mounting foam to the frame then added a white backing piece. I cut the Rejoice In The Season sentiment in black and glued it in the centre of the frame. I attached the frame to the middle of the card then added two white poinsettias from the Poinsettia Trio die set as accents. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" size. All for now, Sue x
At the moment Sue this is more than my eyes can take, it's making me so dizzy I'm really sorry xxx

Good Morning Sue. I love traditional colours for Christmas cards. And this is no exception. The poinsettias really set the card off. And I love how you have done the little pearls in the middle of them. Very lovely. Thankyou Sue.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

That's a fabulous card, love it!
ReplyDeleteWow, the radiating background looks so striking with the poinsettias!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, my comment on yesterday's woodpecker card seems to have disappeared, suffice to say I loved it. Today's card is most striking. I love the colours and the central panel but like Steph I find the radiating background affects my eyes, I am waiting for cataract ops so maybe I won't be affected so much when they are done.
ReplyDeleteAnn - fingers crossed the X-Ray shows nothing damaged.
Frances
Wonderful card Sue, love the design xx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue Lovely Christmas card I like background dies in the Christmas colours and the lacy poinsettias
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. I really love this die as it is so different from anything else. The great thing is that it does not scream Christmas so by changing the colours of the card that you use, I am sure that it would be great for any occasion for any time of year.
